Re that gun, omg, I wouldn´t go near that thing😅

It´s exactly how you describe the 5th house, and I see Mars in Scorpio in the 5th as a plausible explanation. The reason I asked to see his Placidus chart was due to the influence of the house cusp; in which sign, or even element, the house cusp is located in gives important clues as to where and how the qualities pertaining to the 5th house are expressed.

I was going to use my own chart as an example. H5 is in the sign of Cancer. And really my favorite pastimes are those described for that placement (cooking, spending time near the seaside, anything invoking my nostalgia...). There are various interpretations available also for H5 in Scorpio, here is one source:

I´m not really sure what rules guns in astrology... But with 5th house cusp in Scorpio, and ruler Mars in the 5th too (though Pluto is in H4), also in Scorpio, his obsession with guns somehow seemed to really fit.

Black and white attitudes... I have an ex that also had a Mars-Saturn conjunction in Scorpio. Mars around 20 degrees Scorpio (also an ´84 model, Chinese wood Rat). He used to do bodybuilding. I´d say he could be quite black and white in his views yeah.

ETA: Also I think maybe Venus could be involved in leisure. Mine is again in the water element. Your husband´s Venus is situated in H8, and square to Mars, the warrior - perhaps this is also one clue?...

I think it makes sense in a way how you pinpoint all of this to Mars (in domicile) in the 5...

Just out of curiosity do you have his placidus chart for me to see?

I´ll look into it later, but - is there a composite Moon conjunct Pluto ? First thing that came to mind

"Fav scent rosemary oil and I hate lavander

Oh I remembered when I was teen, I absolutely loved shiny things, everything with sparkles, pink, soft to the touch, furs, big earrings. Like A little crow. I think it’s the :108: side
I still like shiny things, but I don’t wear them almost ever
Instead 2 small pear earrings.
White color I love and it must be the cancer asc."

Omg, so similar to me..! I also hate lavender, lol. I used to always wear white, though now I think I need to, and feel like wearing more color. Also did the pearl earring thingy heh. And the shiny, sparkly, soft things...
I´m Pisces Asc, Cancer decan; you Cancer Asc, Pisces decan?...

Synastry & Relationship: HOUSE 8
Sun Sign - AquariusWays_of_Leavin' » astreo
I think both partners could feel attraction and obsession, but that it´s more the planet person who ´activates´ 8th house matters of chart owner. So that the house person could feel the attraction more. Though - it seems with synastric Moon in the 8th due to Moon´s receptive nature the Moon person may feel a strong desire to care for the house person. I read also that when Venus is in H8 of another she tends to find the house person very alluring.

Natal Astrology: sexual aura
Sun Sign - AquariusWays_of_Leavin' » Kélian
I think having an erotic aura and being perceived as attractive are not necessarily synonyms. Some people could have this energy more on the front - but it doesn´t mean people are gonna get attracted to said person, and some could, say, even get repulsed.

Of course what someone finds attractive is gonna depend on their natal chart and what is being activated in one´s chart (so chemistry basically). But I still say some people are just more, um, erotic, and yet some again tend to - consciously or unconsciously - have it on ´display´.

Sounds about right, nice observations. I´d add in Mars in Scorpio and Scorpio Ascendant. Maybe Eros in Scorpio, could give off some vibe at least. ETA: Oh, and ofc Eros conjunct Asc, in H1. Should work in theory at least :2:

I think it is significant, yes. From July or earlier that year Sun was at an anaretic degree. Then as you said towards the very last days of the month pSun moved into Libra. Not only that but pSaturn was combusted by pSun. Around October 17th, 2017, this Sun-Saturn conjunction went exact; 0 degrees, 0 minutes. And I figure the conjunction of Saturn (malefic?...) to your pSun is important, as the pAsc is Leo and thus making the Sun your progressed chart ruler (and ofc your natal Sun resides in Leo, if that matters, too).

Though also, Saturn is exalted in Libra so idk. And Jupiter was involved too.

I noticed your pMoon was in Pisces during those times... From what I have read and also can attest to, pMoon in Scorpio and Pisces are ´karmic´ - they are said to be the most difficult progressed Moons ro deal with.

Heh... I had a fallout with a friend group too in maybe 2019. Well, it started long before but... all came to the surface at some time. My pMoon was in Scorpio, conjunct Pluto. It was a difficult time. But I did learn some very important lessons from it.

I was sorry to hear about your experiences, Sean... What can I say... Hoping only good things are coming your way :68: :164:

Hmm, and what about your progressed Sun going into Libra..? Idk if it was random but I did actually feel my emotions flowing more freely (as per Parker´s astrology) when my pSun went from Aquarius into Pisces.

I actually also thought of fire signs as having higher metabolisms. Actually masculine signs in general. And fire maybe more muscular than air, which could also be more fine-boned or even ethereal. But I never found much consistency in looking at element predominance - though I do believe there is something to it.

You´re right about Mars-Asc; I almost forgot for a second. My Venus-Asc conjunction is squared by Mars; maybe it revs up the metabolism.

I´m wondering also about the influence of the 2nd house cusp - as Taurus rules the neck it´s not improbable that the state of the thyroid gland could be seen here. Again, I have Mars here (though like I said I´ve been diagnosed with hypothyroidism). ETA: And also I have 2nd H in Taurus, again with its ruler, Venus, square to Mars...

Not much was going how I wanted either - but also things I guess I hadn´t imagined or wished for are happening. I mean good things. But yeah, things got realllllyyy stagnant in ways... and I also felt, or feel, like everything I really care(d) about is not happening and never will work out. That´s not solely negative thinking but actual experiences.

Yeahhh, even Saturn at an anaretic degree in H12 :43: Idk why but I do suspect this one is bringing me misfortune.

So... We both are going through tPluto, H12. It´s heavy. But I think good, really good things could come out of it too. Hang in there... :62:

You see, a friend had recently suggested that I do astrology, um, more professionally, for a lack of a better word. So for example doing readings, writing a blog... I got a bit surprised by her saying that, but I thought hey, why not actually. I do feel passionate about astrology - and it´s good to keep oneself occupies with such things, wether earning anything from it or not.

I have many a time looked at my progressed chart, and actually it always resonates. Just a general ´feel´, but also concrete things. Like for example when my pAsc moved into Gemini there definitely were personality changes. Like I mean my core personality remains the same (or does it...... I´m not even sure anymore) - but I did become more talkative, inquisitive, even picked up on things faster. But also started getting more restless and bored more easily. The ingress into Gemini coincided with starting my higher education.

Also, I have noticed that certain ´patterns´ from the progressed chart are repeating. As an example I would have pMoon conjunct Jupiter. When I did my progressed composite with the people I hung out with the most, or that I thought about the most, I had pMoon conjunct Jupiter with several ! Or when my pMoon was in Scorpio I seemed to attract a lot of Scorpio Moons. So I only mentioned examples using the inner planets and the Asc - but my opinion, at least as of now, is that probably the progression of slower moving planets are also valid. Now it´ll only be a few degrees so won´t make a big difference regardless..

And about firdaria, decennials, ZR... I haven´t explored them (anymore) at the time being. I´m quite interested in the latter though. Just haven´t been spending as much time with astro lately.

As far as I know, a prominent Venus tend to slow the metabolism. Mostly implicated is Venus in the 1st house, Taurus or Libra rising. This theory seems to fit with you then, having a Libra Ascendant and your Sun (Sun and Ascendant constitute the physical body) is conjunct Venus.

My Venus is conjunct my Ascendant, though I feel it operating more from H12 than H1, and I always had a very high metabolism. Even at the time that I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. (Though interestingly, Julia and Derek Parker do correlate Venus close to the ascendant or in the 1st house with hypothyroidism.) So idk about that theory, really. I think it could depennd also on which planet, or planets, that are more dominant, as well as the condition of the chart ruler. Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune have all been calculated as my dominants (using different algorithms), and from what I have understood all of these would make one be on the slim side. Perhaps someone who has Moon strong in their chart could more easily hold on to fluid. Possibly Sun bring dominant in a females chart could tend towards roundness vs. slimness.

ETA: I suppose the 6th house cusp and its ruler could be implicated as well - but more likely your *attitudes* to health come up here. The main signifiers of the constitution is mainly one´s Sun and Asc combo. But perhaps H6 modifies.

Using myself as an example again H6 is in the sign of Cancer. Ruler Moon is in Libra, H7. Well, I used to have a crazy sweet tooth. Moon is at the apex of a T-square involving Mercury, Uranus, Neptune, and Chiron (and Saturn, too, if using very large orbs). Also she forms a sesquiquadrate to Mars.

As was mentioned tSaturn is going over your natal Aquarius-stellium/Asc. tPluto will soon again square your nNN, and not too much later tUranus in Taurus will be squaring your Aqua-stellium. I think big changes are to come.

Heart got limits, I feel you in this. "Stay positive", "get over it", and all of that crap. Obviously one does in a way, I mean people keep on trying, in their ways. And your ways may mean nothing to me. Just as mine you could and never would comprehend.

Uhm, jee; needing a permit to photograph... I guess I´m really spoiled living in Scandinavia; it´s hard for me to even imagine such conditions. If everything then has to be planned so carefully it takes the joy out of photographing. You need to have spontaneity and capture the joy of the moment.

What about doing astrology professionally..? You seem to have much knowledge on the topic. Maybe do some courses, get some certificate if it helps you on the way?

You might be right in your statement about secondary progressions. Or that this is some common opinion. Though I find the progressed chart, including aspects to the outer planets, to be significant in portraying innermost changes. Whereas, I guess, I tend to look at transits as more external influencers or actual events. (Though I realize it´s also not so simple.) Anyhow... I´m quite sure that the transits you had did to at least some extent contribute. tSaturn conjunct Neptune; a reality check to one´s dreams and illusions.

Guess this was around 2016-2017... Afterr cresting over my MC tSaturn formed a conjunction to my nUranus-Neptune conjunction (Neptune is my chart ruler, and Uranus the dispositor of my Sun, so I do deem these two significant players in my chart and my life). And then at some point of course squaring my nMoon, the apex of my natal T-square, which involves Chiron. Then, it was Pluto´s turn.
