Your local birth time vs Daylight Saving Time

Your local birth time vs Daylight Saving Time
So I come from Poland where we have summer time and winter time.
When changing into a winter time we go from GMT +1 to GMT 0
which changes my birth time in Universal Time.
But the thing is I don´t like my chart based on GMT 0 birth time.
It doesn´t really make sense.
My Asc Sign is still the same, but it makes my scoprio intercepted which i don´t agree with my GMT +1 location made so much more sense with sagittarius intercepted in the 5th house...

What do you guys think about that?
Does anyone has similar dilemma?

But as much as I have understood, mostly sites automaticaly calculate birth time based on time changes? I´m from the neighbour country of Yours and we also have summer and winter time ( but from 2019 we won´t be changing time) :)

Why don´t you agree with Sco intercepted (as I understand it will be intercepted in the 4th)?

What is it about intercepted Sag in 5th that makes it make more sense?

I had a similar thing, but it wasn´t about winter/summer time. I did a rectification, which showed my actual time of birth 8 min before the record from the hospital and made two signs intercepted as well.. but more on it after I hear from you about what it is that you don´t agree with about Sco interception :1: :122:

Yeah..I feel so stupid now...
It turned out i was wrong
cuz i thought we have GMT +1 in summer
while actually we have it on winter

So i was wrong
feeling kinda stupid
I was so dumbfounded I was near to questioning all astrology
everything i was studying so passionately

My scorpio intercepted would make me miss out on being myself at home in younger age
when i was acting like a scorpio all my life xd
and intercepted sagittarius makes a lot of sense since sagittarius is all about fun and adventure
and i first dated when i was in uni
first getting drunk in age of 19/20 (that´s considered very late in my environment)
another thing
having a sag in 5th house can also indicate being attracted to foreigners
somewhat about my highschool years I switched my interests from polish men to korean
thats quite intresting i guess

i think signs intercepted can tell so much about a persons past
a must-check when analysing a birth chart

But You know, when I have read Your post, I have checked my countrie´s time zone. And in winter it´s UTC +2 and in summer UTC +3. As my birthday is in november (it´s already winter time, so +2UTC) and exact birth time is 4:40, then it means, that in universal time my birth time is 02:40. But in those sites, where I have looked for birth chart calculation they convert my birth time to 1:40, not 2:40 (so they are converting time based on summer time, not winter). Where I was able to change universal birth time, I have made new birth chart and there are different aspects. For example , mercury changes from 2nd house into 1st. Venus moves to 2nd house from 3rd. So now I am absolutely confused what is right with that time converter:D

Yes, time convertion is wrong mostly in all sites for countries like mine where we change winter and summer time, now I have checked:) And here in astro-seek also... And if there is no possibility to convert universal time manually, then it means You have to change birth time for an hour in order to get a report for right universal time.

Hi Angeline,

I just checked the history of timezone changes in your Vilnius/Lithuania country and it´s pretty funny:

You have fixed EET and EEST timezone since cca 2003:
EET (Eastern European Time) = UTC+2h
EEST (Eastern European Summer Time) = UTC+3h

However there were lots of changes before this time:
you had CET/CEST timezone in 1998/1999:
CET (Central European Time) = UTC+1h
CEST (Central European Summer Time) = UTC+2h

you had MSK/MSD timezone cca 1980 - 1989:
MSK (Moscow Standard Time) = UTC+3h
MSD (Moscow Daylight Time) = UTC+4h

you were born in November 1987 and there was currently a MSK (Moscow Standard Time) in your country
=> you really are a UTC+3h timezone :)

04:40h local Vilnius time <=> 01:40h UT/GMT Universal time

If you are interested, you might check all these timezone changes here:…

(btw thank to your government for all these changes :)))

don´t worry ... such things happen to anyone :)

btw greetings to PL neighbourhood with the same timezone = CET and CEST in summer :)

CET (Central European Time) = UTC/GMT + 1h
CEST (Central European Summer Time) = UTC/GMT + 2h

Thank You a lot for information! As my countrie´s last years in Soviet Union were my first years after birth, I didn´t have in mind, that we could have the moscow time.
From 2019 we will stop changing time in my country. Wuhu! :))
