Sedna and its meaning of betrayal - Discussions, questions

"The myth of Sedna is from the Inuit culture. Where austerity and cold winters are embedded into the yearly cycle of existence. There are different forms of the myth, with the main focus on a young woman whose father wants to wed her off and her reluctance in accepting. The most common one referred to goes along these lines.

Fearing for his own safety, Sedna’s father threw her into the ocean to appease the angry birds. When Sedna tried to climb back into the boat, he cut off her fingers. I have asteroid Sedna in the 7th house which I´ve read could indicate abusive relationships - and this has been true for me...

Have you any insights about this asteroid and how to understand its meanings?

I found this also... but it doesn´t really help... Should I mix the meanings of Sedna in Taurus and Sedna in the 7th house to have the whole picture of it in a quite metaphorical meaning?
