The Finger Of God Pointing At Venus

The Finger Of God Pointing At Venus
Good evening to everyone :84:

Oh boy. So yesterday, I decided to add minor aspects to my chart and I was quite surprised by the Yod that was popping up. Just when I accepted the fact that my birth chart is boring... The limited knowledge concerning astrology I have is by very far not enough to interpret this karmic pattern. It seems complicated, but I still hope that someone of you guys will want to help me understand it.

So far, I came to these conclusions:

:154: in :173: in the 10th House (the fulcrum):
- achieving a good social status and a good career later in life through social contacts, networking, communication?
:154: :191: MC:
- popularity, creative/artistic talents, business, finance

However, the Venus is badly aspected by Saturn and Chiron, indicating some restriction and wounds that need to be overcome?

:160: in :178: in the 3rd House (first supporting planet):
- being curious and obsessive, the need for investigation - solving mysteries
- communicating in a forceful or intense way?
- Planet in its rulership
:160: :191: PoF:
- happiness through transformation, revealing the inner core?

:199: in :180: in the 5th House (second supporting planet):
- creative, inspiration through "unstable" life - unusual way of expressing creativity, playfulness
- The Ruler of the 5th House (Saturn) is in the 7th House

I understand that the quincunxes are considered to be very stressful and that the fulcrum is receiving all this stress onto itself.

I´m sorry for the little interpretation I could do myself, but I would like to understand what I am supposed to achieve in this life, indicated by this yod pattern. It left me awake the entire night.

Any support, any insight that can help me interpret this is more than welcome!

You have have great placements for the research field, especially research in the engineering field.

But you might need to work with difficulties with self-assertiveness and self-confidence, and perhaps a difficultly with procrastination.

You may feel directionless in life, or have so many and varied interests, that you don´t know how to direct your energy (Mars) efficiently and effectively. This may cause procrastination problems caused by the indecision to choose a particular path, and by a lack of faith in your abilities.

Not lucky in love, are you? You are more career oriented than relationship oriented, I feel - as relationships just give you so much trouble.

Thank you so much Davis, for taking your time looking at it and commenting!

Agree with all three of them; I definitely have issues with self-assertiveness, self-confidence and procrastination. Which is why it´s hard for me to imagine working in the research field. There are many things I´d be interested in - Biology, Medicine, Psychology and Neurology. I kind of doubt though, that I have what it takes to be successful in those fields.

"You may feel directionless in life, or have so many and varied interests, that you don´t know how to direct your energy (Mars) efficiently and effectively."

Yes! Absolutely. I did start my career just recently, but I´m already having doubts about whether I feel like this is the path I should choose and stick with; the path that will make me happy in the long run. You are just so right.

"Not lucky in love, are you? You are more career oriented than relationship oriented, I feel"
Hmm.. Tbh until one year ago, I was under the impression I don´t care about a career at all; that creating a family is more important. Now, I feel a bit less like an underachiever and more career oriented, indeed.
I´m currently happily engaged with a wonderful person. But the previous relationship was awful - my partner was narcissistic and the relationship was indeed troublesome. Through this relationship I met my current partner though. So all good!

Again, thank you! It´s very much appreciated and I apologize for such a thorough reply.

"Thank you so much Davis, for taking your time looking at it and commenting!"

Sure; my pleasure! :-))

"Agree with all three of them; I definitely have issues with self-assertiveness, self-confidence and procrastination."

The fact that you can see it, make it easier to handle it.

"Which is why it´s hard for me to imagine working in the research field. There are many things I´d be interested in - Biology, Medicine, Psychology and Neurology. I kind of doubt though, that I have what it takes to be successful in those fields."

I must disagree with you on that last sentence, :-). But I´ll comment more on it at the end.

[[["You may feel directionless in life, or have so many and varied interests, that you don´t know how to direct your energy (Mars) efficiently and effectively."]]]

"Yes! Absolutely. I did start my career just recently, but I´m already having doubts about whether I feel like this is the path I should choose and stick with; the path that will make me happy in the long run. You are just so right."

That´s Chiron in the Ascendant which makes us feel directionless in life.

[[["Not lucky in love, are you? You are more career oriented than relationship oriented, I feel"]]]

"Hmm.. Tbh until one year ago, I was under the impression I don´t care about a career at all; that creating a family is more important. Now, I feel a bit less like an underachiever and more career oriented, indeed."

I understand. You have the transits that are activating an urge/need for transformations and healing:

1.Transiting North Node in the 11th (goals and dreams) conjunct the Sun in the 11th.

2. Transiting Pluto trine Chiron in the 1st.

3. Jupiter in the 4th (our mind/inner world, and emotional issues) square Mars in the 1st.

4. As in # 3 above, but opposite the Sun in the 11th.

5. Transiting Chiron in the 8th (psychological issues, healing) trine Jupiter in the 4th.

6. (In next month) Transiting Uranus in the 9th conjunct South Node and Opposite North Node in the 3rd.

Use those transits to define your path and passions in life. Once you are certain about a path one feels very passionate about, the interest and motivation for action is immediately rekindled, usually.

"I´m currently happily engaged with a wonderful person."

That´s great! :-)).

"But the previous relationship was awful - my partner was narcissistic and the relationship was indeed troublesome. Through this relationship I met my current partner though. So all good!"

Wow; I am really sorry about that, but happy at the same time, :-).

"Again, thank you! It´s very much appreciated and I apologize for such a thorough reply."

You are most welcome, and don´t worry; my own replies are really through enough, haha. I love through replies as I get to confirm or discard my initial insights/analysis.

Now let´s go back to this: "I kind of doubt though, that I have what it takes to be successful in those fields."

I must disagree with you. You have Pluto (transformations, digging deep into things) in the house of efforts - the 3rd - and in Scorpio (transformations). From there Pluto has 4 aspects, all of which are positive aspects, including "Pluto sextile the Ascendant", and "Pluto trine Saturn", making a triangle with Uranus (change).

Then your North Node is in the "House of efforts" (the 3rd) and trine your MC.

Then you have another triangle with Chiron/Ascendant, Pluto, and Uranus.

And you have an exalted Mercury (in Gemini) in your 10th conjunct the MC.

See? You have what it takes to transform your life for the better; never sell yourself short.

I have Chiron in my first also, so I know what it does and exactly how it feels. To add to that problematic position, I also have Saturn in my 1st house, and in Aries where he is debilitated. So I have a debilitated Aries Saturn in my first house conjunct my Asc (oh Lord!!!); and then I have a first house Aries North Node conjunct (a 9 degree orb) Chiron in my 1st - what a nightmare!! Then Saturn is opposite my Descendant, and Chiron is opposite my 7th house Libra Venus.

For those of you are into Vedic astrology, the worst aspect to have is "Rahu with Saturn" and in the first house - with Saturn debilitated!!! This specific combination is called, "Shrapit Yoga" or "Cursed Combination of Planets".

To tell you that my life has been a living hell would be a HUGE understatement! A very huge one, indeed!

But about 5 years ago, I had to decide whether to end that so miserable existence full of (just fill the blank), or to turn my life around and embrace Faith and Hope; two "luxuries" that were totally absent from my life.

I decided that I needed to face my many "Demons", and did just that - though I still have a LOT to handle . But my life has been a LOT better than ever before since the last 4-5 years of my life. Now Hope and Faith are my two best friends, and I never let go of them.

The "Power of Belief", dear soul, the power of belief can move mountains. Never forget that.

Make a list of ALL activities that you feel very passionate about; all of them. Then "visualize" you doing each one of them, one at a time, and note down your feelings and thoughts as you go along. "Spot" the one (or ones) that create the best sensation of fulfillment, and search for real memories (if you have them) where you were doing just that. This little, "silly" and simple exercise would help you to understand about yourself like no astrology reading would be able to.

If an "oldie" like me was able to turn his life around - even though I still have so much more to handle - I figure that a very smart 23 years old individual like you also can, :-))).

I´ll reply later on with the links from 2-3 great astrology books that would help you to better understand your challenging placements.

Here are the links for those books:

1. "Saturn: A New Look at an Old Devil" by Liz Greene.

http://a.co/ewEL8Xm

The best book on Saturn by far! It explains every placement and aspect as only Liz Green can do. She is one of the best Psychological astrologers. Read the sections, "Saturn in Libra or the 7th House", and "Saturn in Aspects to Mars".

2. "Chiron and the Healing Journey" by Melanie Reinhart.

http://a.co/a9qAAOs

Read the sections, "Chiron in Aries or the 1st House", and on chapter 7 ("Chiron in Aspects") read the section, "The Outer Planets" where she talks about aspects with Saturn. You have "Saturn opposite Chiron" in your chart.

Read the above, and it will help to understand your difficult placements in ways that perhaps you never understood before.

Wow, you are amazing, thank you so much!

"Use those transits to define your path and passions in life. Once you are certain about a path one feels very passionate about, the interest and motivation for action is immediately rekindled, usually."

Unfortunately, I didn´t get in touch with Transits that much yet, and overall my inexperience makes it hard for me to put every single Transit into a proper context. But I can see where the need and/or opportunity for Transformation is coming from.
I´ve also seen that in the next months another Pluto Transit is about to start. If I remember correctly, it was Pluto trine Ascendant. Curious how this will turn out!

"Wow; I am really sorry about that, but happy at the same time, :-)."

Thank you!

"You are most welcome, and don´t worry; my own replies are really through enough, haha. I love through replies as I get to confirm or discard my initial insights/analysis."

I appreciate your thoroughness and the dedication you possess!

"I must disagree with you. You have Pluto (transformations, digging deep into things) in the house of efforts - the 3rd - and in Scorpio (transformations). From there Pluto has 4 aspects, all of which are positive aspects, including "Pluto sextile the Ascendant", and "Pluto trine Saturn", making a triangle with Uranus (change)."

Except for the Ascendant, all these planets are moving slowly, so these aspects are "not that special". But I agree - there are at least no challenging aspects, which is a miracle, thinking about the fact that my chart consists of way more bad and challenging aspects, especially to my personal planets.

Though I have to admit that, even if my House of Efforts is quite positive, I am quite lazy and, as you have pointed out, procrastinating. Which is also one of the reasons I find it hard to believe that research would be something I´d be good at. Research needs a lot of dedication, confidence, self-assertiveness and the drive to finish it. Something really has to spark my passion, like astrology does, for me to able to stick with it or to "forget" my tendency to procrastinate.

"And you have an exalted Mercury (in Gemini) in your 10th conjunct the MC."

Hmm, is it still good, even if badly aspected? My Mercury is building five squares, one of them being with Saturn and one being with Chiron. There is not a single good aspect, except for the conjunction perhaps. Plus the mercury itself already makes me quite indecisive. Do you see hope here?

"To tell you that my life has been a living hell would be a HUGE understatement! A very huge one, indeed!"

I´m so sorry to hear that!! It sounds awful; I wouldn´t want to switch lives with you... But you seem like an extremely resilient and strong person! You are a healer now! :)) Often, the nicest, most supportive and the most selfless people are the people that suffered the most. You have my respect.

"I decided that I needed to face my many "Demons", and did just that - though I still have a LOT to handle . But my life has been a LOT better than ever before since the last 4-5 years of my life. Now Hope and Faith are my two best friends, and I never let go of them."

I´m glad to hear that your life has improved so much!

"This little, "silly" and simple exercise would help you to understand about yourself like no astrology reading would be able to."

I think I will try this one out. But I guess my Transformation phase won´t be over anytime soon, so I can´t expect to see any results soon, even if my impatient me would like that! :)

"If an "oldie" like me was able to turn his life around - even though I still have so much more to handle - I figure that a very smart 23 years old individual like you also can, :-)))."

I hope I will be able to! :) I´m very positive, that turning to Astrology and registering in this forum was an important step already, to turn my life around. It´s easier to change if you already know what needs to be changed.

"I´ll reply later on with the links from 2-3 great astrology books that would help you to better understand your challenging placements."

Yeah, no challenging aspects to Pluto, and just "Pluto sextile Asc" is good enough; a big plus! Did you know that among the most successful individuals, many of them have a LOT of challenging aspects in their charts? I am no kidding you. Challenging aspects push us to grow, to want to change. Too many "easy aspects" can make conformists out of us.

"Though I have to admit that, even if my House of Efforts is quite positive, I am quite lazy and, as you have pointed out, procrastinating."

Of course; you have Chiron in your Asc and conjunct Mars (debilitated in the sign ruled by his enemy, Mercury). I am also quite lazy myself, haha, except when I am doing astrology, :-)), which is not my income source. I also have Chiron in my Asc. Also a debilitated Saturn in my 1st.

"Which is also one of the reasons I find it hard to believe that research would be something I´d be good at. Research needs a lot of dedication, confidence, self-assertiveness and the drive to finish it. Something really has to spark my passion, like astrology does, for me to able to stick with it or to ´forget´ my tendency to procrastinate."

That was my whole point all alone! That if you do find what "sparks your passion", then you can "forget" those tendencies; you can rise above them.

In my own case, I am a contractor - I own a small construction business. And it is VERY hard for me to get the motivation needed to make my business grow. I literally have to drag myself out of bed each morning. Fortunately, I have men that do the "hard work" for me, haha. So I can be at home doing some readings while they are there making money for me, haha. But I would be a millionaire by now if I was really passionate about construction; but I am not!! So in that field, I procrastinate a LOT!

But when I am doing astrology - for example - I can be the whole day and night doing readings. Even until very late at night (3 or 4 am). And without any pay!! Haha. Also, when I am writing - especially an essay, poem, etc - I can be hours and hours at it non-stop.

So it is a matter of finding our right passions. Then motivation and action can be easily rekindled.

[[["And you have an exalted Mercury (in Gemini) in your 10th conjunct the MC."]]]

"Hmm, is it still good, even if badly aspected? My Mercury is building five squares, one of them being with Saturn and one being with Chiron."

Yes, it is still good. As I said before, challenging aspects can motivate us to grow, to change. You have a T-Square with those 3 planets. A T-Square is meant to create a need to evolve. Many very successful individuals have T-Squares in their charts.

Most of your planets are in "good dignity" (either exalted in their own sign or at least not in an "enemy sign").

Moon is in a sign ruled by a friend (Mercury).

Mercury is "exalted" in Gemini, his own sign.

Venus is in a sign ruled by his friend Mercury.

Pluto is exalted - in his own sign.

Saturn is in the sign of a "neutral" (Jupiter) to him.

The Sun is in a sign ruled by his friend the Moon.

Jupiter is exalted in his own sign.

Uranus and Neptune in Cap are not "debilitated".

So the only one "debilitated" by sign placement is Mars, as he is in the sign ruled by his enemy, Mercury. That´s why Mars in the 1st conjunct Chiron has been so difficult for you.

"There is not a single good aspect, except for the conjunction perhaps. Plus the mercury itself already makes me quite indecisive. Do you see hope here?"

Yes, I do! You are looking at squares as a "bad" thing; but it doesn´t need to be that way. Every aspect - "soft" or "hard" - have its higher manifestation and its lower manifestations. Which one is manifested in your life is totally up to you. Free Will is above a birth chart - though I am sure that many Vedic astrologers differ, haha.

For example, "Mars square Pluto" can manifest as a very dominant, manipulative, and cruel attitude - unfortunately, I´ve met a few of those lost souls!!

But take the example of Lada Duncheva, the great (and very hot, haha) Bulgarian astrologer. She has that aspect and - even though she did manifest some of its lower manifestations when young (according to her) - now she manifest it in such higher and beautiful ways. Full of passion, motivation, always helping her fellow astrologers, etc etc. See? The same aspect.

Challenging aspects are not "punishments" from the "gods"; they are there for us to handle our past lives self-undoing patterns of behavior that wrecked our life, and quite possibly caused our body death.

[[["To tell you that my life has been a living hell would be a HUGE understatement! A very huge one, indeed!"]]]

"I´m so sorry to hear that!! It sounds awful; I wouldn´t want to switch lives with you…"

No, you wouldn´t! :-((( And thanks! :-).

"But you seem like an extremely resilient and strong person! You are a healer now! :))"

Thank! :-)). And yes, I had to develop resilience or die.

"Often, the nicest, most supportive and the most selfless people are the people that suffered the most. You have my respect."

That´s very sweet of you, thank you :6: :27:

"I´m glad to hear that your life has improved so much!"

"Thanks; most kind of you! :-)"

You are welcome!

"That´s a great one for transformations. But it can feel a little "hard" if we resist the changes."

I can imagine, that that´s the way most aspects indicating transformation and change feel. In some article I was reading that Pluto transits can be quite unforgiving, if you try to resist the change.

"Did you know that among the most successful individuals, many of them have a LOT of challenging aspects in their charts? I am no kidding you. Challenging aspects push us to grow, to want to change. Too many "easy aspects" can make conformists out of us."

That´s giving me hope. I also read somewhere that challenging aspects are great for growth. But I guess this opportunity for growth is not in reach for all people with mostly challenging aspects. Or it is there, but some of their challenging aspects makes it hard for them to get a hold on such opportunities. Didn´t know though, that most successful individuals have many aspects that are considered challenging.

"Of course; you have Chiron in your Asc and conjunct Mars (debilitated in the sign ruled by his enemy, Mercury). I am also quite lazy myself, haha, except when I am doing astrology, :-)), which is not my income source. I also have Chiron in my Asc. Also a debilitated Saturn in my 1st."

Seems like you really do understand me then!

"That was my whole point all alone! That if you do find what "sparks your passion", then you can "forget" those tendencies; you can rise above them."

Yes, it all makes sense now! Thank you for explaining it to me so patiently!

"n my own case, I am a contractor - I own a small construction business. And it is VERY hard for me to get the motivation needed to make my business grow. I literally have to drag myself out of bed each morning. Fortunately, I have men that do the "hard work" for me, haha. So in that field, I procrastinate a LOT!"

Haha, I have the same issues! And just like you I´m semi-passionate about my job and a lot more passionate about Astrology. Perhaps that´s one of Chiron things as well: choosing Astrology as a way of healing and then making you passionate about it, haha. :)

"You have a T-Square with those 3 planets. A T-Square is meant to create a need to evolve. Many very successful individuals have T-Squares in their charts."

Wow, I haven´t noticed that one yet. Thanks for pointing it out!

"Most of your planets are in "good dignity" (either exalted in their own sign or at least not in an "enemy sign")."

I haven´t noticed that yet either! Seems like I´m only seemingly unlucky.

"But take the example of Lada Duncheva, the great (and very hot, haha) Bulgarian astrologer. She has that aspect and - even though she did manifest some of its lower manifestations when young (according to her) - now she manifest it in such higher and beautiful ways. Full of passion, motivation, always helping her fellow astrologers, etc etc. See? The same aspect."

That´s indeed very inspirational. It´s showing that you just have to be patiently working on yourself in order to transform challenging aspects to something good.

"Indeed! It is easier. Astrology not only changed my life; it saved me! Keep going!!"

I will, thank you so much!! :)

"I see a very bright future for you, I really do, :-))."

Thank you so so much! It is inspiring and motivating.

I guess you won´t read this anymore, but I wish you and your loved one all the best! :)
