Astrocartography
Hello,I really wonder, is Astrocartography important? I´m interested with this these days.

I would be happy if astrologers working in this field share their ideas.

which planets to pay attention to? Which countries and cities are useful for me according to my chart? Which countries support me especially for my career?

I am looking forward to your answers. I am open to book, video, site suggestions about astrology.

Thank you 😊

1. Only meaningful or important if you move around.

2. If don´t move or can´t move, then it doesn´t matter. It becomes a theoretical discussion and a waste of time.

3. It is not practical for ordinary people living stable lives to move around so much, and those that do tend to have other problems that are more relevant to their daily life, or are abnormal in some way.. (refugees, mentally unstable, economically unstable..)

4. For vacations- not so important, you won´t be staying there long anyway. Would anyone really miss going to Tahiti or London simply because an unfavorable line passed there? I don´t think so.

5. everyone´s experience is different. you moving to a pluto line is different than someone else doing the same. It´s hard to draw strong generalities and lessons because people themselves are all so different, and different in their intelligence and understanding as well.

6. A real discussion of this quickly becomes very personal, more personal than most people wish to discuss openly on an internet forum.

Hello~~~

I travel too but the reason I am curious about this is that I want to live abroad for a while. I want to study languages and do a master´s degree.

That´s why I wanted to research this topic. I agree with what you wrote. This may not be effective for temporary situations. Thanks for your comment 🥰

actually in your natal chart, mercury is strong (in its own house) and Venus is also in its own house (Taurus, the 9th house) - which makes it strong already for studies in your current place [9th house is for higher studies]

planning to do a master´s degree in something related to finances/property management/architecture?

Yea it works moving around.
God , I lived on my Uranus line for 10 years while Uranus transiting aqua.
Interesting the unusual people I met.
My daughters went reverse in popularity
One moved to her Venus Uranus. Other Chiron
The Chiron she drew in some major sick people no matter what she did.
The Venus became popular within six months.
Now the X Chiron line she better . She finally moved away from it.
Do not live on your Chiron line nor Pluto.
Her friend lived on Pluto in fourth. I told her she needed to move to the west coast. Her life was one bad trip.

Plus you have to check condition of planets in the natal chart. Look at upcoming transits.

Anyone do your progressed chart.? Relocation

I´m trying to figure this. I´m on my Jupiter mars midpoint.
In fifth natal.
Progressed Venus moving into fourth a couple years. Will this affect my living area. Progressed
I have seen just a couple of progressed relocation charts.

Hello ~~

Yes, they said before that these two positions are important.. but it is not very influential in my life.

I wanted to study architecture, but I changed my mind and studied painting. Maybe I can do a master´s degree. I will keep this in mind

Thank you so much:)

locations were so influential.

I´d like to know more. Because I want to live in a different country for a year in the future.

I looked at the progression map once, yes. I´ll look into it more.

I´ll look into it more~~ Thank you!

Yes, there is.

But I can make changes to it. I can move to the best place for me and my career. I´m currently connected to Germany, Austria, Korea, Indonesia these days.

checking the relocation maps for these places (using the capital city of each) quickly... suggests that in Europe, probably the lifestyle or let´s say you won´t see much changes (i.e. if you are yearning to change something in your life, maybe it won´t be there) but they are good probably for work issues (lord of 1st in 10th). The ascendant would remain Virgo still in Vienna and Berlin, as in your natal chart.

Moving to Seoul or Jakarta, the ascendant becomes Sagittarius. Jupiter is there but retrograde. Could be places that incite intellectual endeavor but rather slow because Jupiter is originally retro. However, Saturn there would be in the 4th house for you (and you are already in Saturn return phase) which seems to be triggering some hardships in home/house, or at least not the idea of happiness you might have imagined to have in these places (and probably financial issues in relation to homes).

**

I know 2 people living directly under their own pluto lines, and yes, life is not fun.

It is like they meet face to face with their destiny there, and that is not always
a nice thing. You will struggle with pluto endlessly under that line. Mars lines also
seem to bring out agression, conflict, either within you or with the world around you.
It´s intense and tiring always to live that way, under such pressure.

There is an old saying in MBA or project management circles about pressure and deadlines-
that pressure doesn´t create diamonds, it only makes garbage more compact.

That pluto line pressure that you live under forces you to change in some way. You will see some people do not react well to change or are basically incapable of growth because of inner personality problems or defects. Life is not very happy for such cases. One I know has lived under a pluto line all their life, so it is normal for them.. this constant pressure from pluto. He knows no other life, but still it has affected him in ways that are not so light and good and happy.. everything in life is a struggle, that is the mentality that gets pressed into you. Issues of heritage, taboo, sexual matters, survival, transformation. It´s not fun or natural when the intensity is set so high. It makes for grim humorless people. You might say those are Saturn traits, but pluto also has it´s own flavor of these things too.

you have mars & pluto square lines in DE, AT and Indonesia..
how do those places make you feel when you are there?

mercury square lines in Korea, and Ankara..
Turkey is relatively free of lines for you.

how do those other places/cultures make you feel when you are there?

Wow! That´s a really big impact that can´t be underestimated. I agree with what you say. Busy times don´t always lead to improvement afterwards.

I´m going to take a better look at my own chart. I´m going to see what effects I´m getting in my own country.

Thank you!

Hello ~~ thank you for comment:)

The rhythm of life in Germany was too heavy. Life was orderly and beautiful, but it was not an energetic life. The culture was not similar to Turkey. I liked the architecture and organized cities.i felt different.

Korea so beautiful. Life is very fast in Korea. It was hard to stay at that pace . But the advanced technology and modern life push people to learn new things and be open to new things. I also liked Korea a lot but I felt lonely there.

Indonesia was also a beautiful country but I had some difficulties living there because the food was too far away from me. I think Indonesia was the most different among these 3 countries. I felt a little depressed.

I´m not sure which one better for me.

Yes astrocartography is so important. I love it because it’s so interesting to see which countries I’ll feel my best at, and where I can reach my full potential. And where I should stay away from…… Lol. I find it so amazing because my moon lines go directly through the two countries that I’m from :79: . Where I feel completely at home, I can be myself and I know I really belong there. The moon line shows you where you feel like home, your heritage, and can even be where you lived in a past life. You could end up getting a house/family there, and overall feel a sense of belonging and comfort. It’s not the best line to live on though, if you aren’t in control of your emotions. It was quite hard for me when I was in Korea, my moon makes a lot of aspects in my chart. I felt extremely emotional and nostalgic all of the time, and I couldn’t sleep at night. So many thoughts running through my mind. I never felt like this back here in the UK. I felt a bit depressed as well.. This is the effects of the moon.

Overall, your :151: :154: :156: are the best ones to live on .

Also look at the aspects that line’s planet is making when you look at which lines to live at.

Right now I’m living on my Saturn line and I hate it. I feel restricted and depressed here. Especially because I’m a night chart, Saturn is the worst line for me to be on. But if you’re a day chart, Mars is the worst line for you. Life feels stagnant here and I have to work 10x harder to achieve what I want. I’m learning a lot of karmic lessons here. But the good thing is that as I get older life will get easier - I know once I’m a bit older I’m definitely running off somewhere else :75:

Sorry that you felt lonely in Korea. :17: it’s a beautiful and amazing country, it’s my homeland. I agree that life is very fast, but what I love the most about it is the technology and how convenient it is. The beautiful culture as well. Foreigners can sometimes have a hard time fitting in, since the culture is very different from the rest of the world. Koreans always like to keep to themselves and are usually quite shy haha. But it’s amazing for tourism and the people are so warm and welcoming.

And you are from Turkey, Korea considers them their brother country :80: Because they helped us during the Korean War when we were suffering and needed help. so Koreans are sooo grateful to them and they love them a lot. :74: I hope overall you had an amazing time there though. :68:

Have you tried Spain or Portugal? :1: Your Venus line goes through there, it could be a great experience. On your Venus line you’re likely to feel very beautiful and appreciated, and find many amazing opportunities. The potential to find love is very high as well.

You can watch this for more info, I really like this video -https://youtu.be/-6SnyyN4jz4/…

Yes astrocartography seems to be important. Thank you for your comment. It´s really very explanatory.

I find Korea very close to me. I love it. The culture is very unique and I love the Korean language and the people.❤️ I would love to live there. It´s just too fast and it gives you the message that you have to be perfect. And because I am so different in appearance, it gave me a feeling of the other.😶‍🌫️

Maybe in the future if I feel confident I would like to live there. ✨

I´ve heard a lot about these two countries but I don´t know them well, maybe I could check it out. Thank you so much ❤️

To me it doesn´t make any theoretical or conceptual sense. The astrocartography chart has two lines for each planet, all around the globe: these show points on earth where, at the moment of your birth, these planets were in conjunction with either the Ascendant-Descendant axis, or the Medium Caeli - Imum Caeli axis, in that specific place.

It seems to be believed that these lines have relevance to a native´s life. But why would they? At the moment of my birth, the only AC-DC and MC-IC axes that have any relevance are the ones for the exact location of my birth. And I was only born in one location. I have my natal chart for a reason. Of what relevance to me is the fact that on the day of my birth, Venus might have been on the Midheaven for someone born at the same time in Moscow? It would only matter to that person, not me or my birth.

I understand that some people claim to feel a difference when travelling to some of these lines but there could be many possible explanations for that, including placebo or the self-fulfilling prophecy of expecting to feel something there.

I am open to the concept, but I need it to make better sense to me first.

A different kind of astrocartography historically was the assignment of signs and/or planets to different lands and principalities. For example, in William Lilly´s Christian Astrology, he lists most principalities of Europe under each of the twelve signs, including tiny city-states in what would later become a unified Germany. If I recall correctly, he assigns Aquarius to Russia. I don´t remember more right now and am typing on my phone away from home, so cannot cite more at this time. But that, I think, is very interesting and I would like to explore it more and see what it might have to do with mundane astrology as well as other forms.

The Koreans themselves have made a new word they use to describe life in Korea and the pressures there..

I thought the same thing when I looked at her map.. particularly Portugal.

I live under my moon lines here in California as well. It´s comfortable and "home" in a profound way, but also, something that comes with that influence is a certain inertia towards stagnation and tired old habits. Keeping things real and fresh takes some effort. Renewal takes effort under a moon line. It´s not hindered the way it is under some other lines, by chaos or epic struggle, but more by comforts, a feeling of contentment or satisfaction combined with a certain dose of wistful dreaminess.

Hello~~

It´s a different perspective, I´ve never thought about it like that. I guess I must be spiritual and magical in character and believe in the domain of energy, of the earth✨😶‍🌫️

I agree with what you say. This mindset makes sense, I´ll think about it😊

I didn´t know that this was reflected in the states in the historical dimension.

Thank you for your comment✨

Ohh I ll think about it:)

Oh The place where the moon is located is cozy and feels like home. That´s great but as you say it can also bring laziness and stagnation.

I will check my chart again.

I´m so curious.
