Holy Water Look into Vedic palmistry. I don´t know any books as I haven´t completed my Vedic astrology studies yet, but I am sure you will find something good. There literally is no better source of information on spirituality, mysticism and occult than that of the east.

SEAALT Hello. When I was a teenager I found an old edition of a mysterious book, or so it seemed to me at the time, called "Practical Palmistry - Comte C. De Saint-Germain". The author obviously writes under a pseudonym, but who knows you might find it.

Eros Arcano It´s probably not that popular here because you need to practice in person with a lot of people, and it has subtleties that are difficult to appreciate in a photograph. Many times the touch itself adds information that cannot be obtained at a distance.

That being said, I think that with Chiron and Mercury on your Ascendant, you have a very good chance of becoming an excellent palmist. Study and practice that knowledge a lot.

I used to be into Palmistry, like 20 years ago... ha.
If you haven´t read this book yet, I think you will find it interesting...

Palm lines change, and I believe they do show you what kind of life a person is experiencing at the moment. If the person is going through a difficult time, I´ve seen many lines crossing the life line. If the person is unsure about what to do for a living (especially at a younger age or doesn´t have to think about it much), I noticed the fate line hadn´t developed well.
My palm lines have changed a lot too, compared to 20 years ago, I think...


"LA CROIX MYSTIQUE", is one of the marks considered lucky to have(?) among palmistry students in Korea..

The explanation here is very interesting, but in addition to what is written here, in my country, the mark is seen as an ancestor´s protection over you. The interpretation is that the bearer of the mark is always supported and protected in times of crisis, even if life has many twists and turns. Does anyone have this mark?

"LA CROIX MYSTIQUE",
What is called "La Croix Mystique" is found in the quadrangle of the hand between the Lines of Heart and Head (7, Plate XX.).

It is more usually found in the centre of this part of the hand, but it may be also found nearer the one side of the quadrangle or the other.

This mark denotes a natural gift or talent for mysticism and occultism of all kinds.

When placed nearer Jupiter, it denotes the employment of these studies more to gratify the subject´s own pride or ambition than the following out of such things for their own sake.

When it is in the centre of the quadrangle, across the Line of Fate, or immediately under the Mount of Saturn, such studies become more of a religion or are followed for their own worth and the influence and truth of occultism will play a leading rôle in the whole career. Most likely the possessor of this mark will follow it as a profession, or will crystallise his researches into the form of books.

When this mark lies lower down in the quadrangle, nearer to the Mount of the Moon, the subject will study some form of occultism more from a superstitious standpoint than any other. None the less, he will be likely to succeed in doing so, and influence other[Pg 96] people through his studies, and with this latter form he will be more likely to write beautiful mystic poetry with the prophetic note running through it very strongly.

Dirtyaquarium » hyepark3 Yeap I’ve heard of that mark before, I can’t actually tell if I have it or not cos one thing I hate is reading my own palm,tons of lines most of them are crosses some overlapping some connected some seperated, I could send a picture to show u what I mean but because I’m not sure I can’t tell by myself.

Rosincvist » hyepark3 I have a "letter K" on a line that is 1/2 science line & 1/2 humour line; It is an upside down y on the left hand. Sort of a deviation from "croix"
The intuition line is the most interesting; More people have the bottom half right than the top half!
On one hand I have three lascivious lines springing from the health line!

In general, many fine lines appear when you´re anxious or under stressful circumstances, and when you´re uncertain about your future. I haven´t actually seen your palms, so I cannot say for sure, but if your line of fate hasn´t developed well yet (considering your age... :)), maybe that shows you´re still figuring out your future and haven´t decided on which path to take.

If there are many lines, not all of them have meanings. However, a professional palmist can determine which lines are significant and indicative of potential development, and which ones might be related to temporary stress or difficulties, etc.

But, palm lines do change. Today, I looked for the posts that I made 10 years ago when I requested a palm reading. It was a year after I came back to Korea, and I had many worries about everything (I still do, though... haha). Like you, I was concerned about many fine lines on my palm. The palmist was kind and generous and told me nice things.

Anyways, here are the pictures of my palm lines from 10 years ago and now.

In the past, I had many fine cutting lines at the bottom part of my fate line. If you look at the picture on the right, which is the current one, most of those lines are now gone. I noticed that many fine lines disappeared overall.

However, I now see some fine lines that have appeared around the top portion of my fate line. I guess that shows my worries about my future career path... :)

I mentioned about this in my previous reply, but in Korean Palmistry, this "croix" is considered a good mark to have, and if you have this mark, one of the interpretations is that you´re protected by your ancestors, and you are safe even if your life has lots of ups and downs. They say, you don´t get to die easily even if you have many accidents.. haha. I do have this mark, I think. (Some may consider this an obstacle line over the fate line though..)

I did have a lot of ups and downs in my life, I think. I had to get through those, and somehow, I think my family and the people around me expect me to do so..

lilnevermind hello, the topic has always interested me, however it is not very popular. I have often found wrong or too generic google information, too attached to a particular culture. Palmistry is an ancient practice practiced in different cultures of the world of the past, currently it should still be practiced in India however it fits well with the style of thought typical of the Eastern religions. Every fortune teller has his own beliefs about free will, the meaning of destiny and various, as well as every astrologer. Some fortune tellers believe in fate, in the pagan gods.. Currently, information about this practice is scattered.

a sign that for certain fortune tellers means one thing, the same sign can be interpreted differently by other astrologers.
Part of palmistry I find truthful, like I would say the basis of character, the most important aspects in life and the state of health. Lifespan is an extreme thing to interpret and I don’t like to do it. The most difficult line to interpret is that of marriage or children, too personal and it is easy to make mistakes in this field. The mounts of the hand suggest something, but the overall shape and fingers should not be interpreted. Each line really represents something, for example if the career line does not bode well despite the Jupiter Mountain is good, please does not mean that the career is lucky. However, you never stop learning through experience.

How is this aspect interpreted? is it a kind of mystical cross ? since I have doubts about the future I have noticed changes in the life line, in the area under the mountain of Jupiter, a kind of thin horizontal rhombus holds the beginning of the head line united to the waist line

Yes, palm lines constantly change. As you develop a more concrete idea about your future, the lines signifying that will appear deeper and clearer. :)

If you´re talking about the mount of Jupiter:

-There can be springing lines from the life line, which shows your ambition and some success or achievement from your own effort.
-Or a square, a mark shown in the teachers´ hands.
-Or a ring under the index finger, Solomon´s ring, which signifies wisdom and knowledge. Apparently, in the West, it signifies love and the pursuit of mysticism.

If your line of life and line of head are fused at the beginning, that means you´re rather a cautious person and you think a lot before you make a decision.

If your line of head is long and stretches to the mount of Moon, you have great imaginations and an inclination towards tender sentiments like romance, kindness, and compassion.

Rosincvist » hyepark3 Your mount of is partially under the finger while the mount of moves towards the ring finger; So when I say that there is a star between them it is under the finger with a lot of lines!
One of the lines at a 1/2 cross 1/2 star is set a little high, however an imperfect is better than no at all!
Perhaps Korea expects more crosses with high positivity than other medium-sized nations!

I have my palm read already so I won´t ask for help on palm reading, but I do want to ask you, can you see anything on someone front of the hand? I heard palmistry can read not just the palm, but the front too, like your fingernails shape, length and space/gap between fingers etc.. things like that.

Can you look at mine and see what you can see? the front of my hand (since I already have the back of my hand read).

btw, you have pretty hand (the hand pics you posted).

I don´t have pretty hand like you, I don´t put lotion on my hand, or ever do anything to beautify it. I´m a strong Mars person, not Venus. I have square fingernails like men too. And I have reddish skintone too and I´m Asian, I guess thanks Mars, lol.

Can palmistry tell anything just based on the front of the hand?

People said Asian women have pale skintone, are they sure? I´m 100% Asian here and I have reddish color to my skin, I guess my Mars say otherwise, lol.

THE CONIC OR ARTISTIC HAND

The Conic, also called the Artistic, Hand (Plate II., Part II.), is always graceful looking, with the fingers tapering and pointed. It has, not only on account of its appearance but also because of the qualities it represents, been called the Artistic Hand.[Pg 125]

Its possessor may not always paint pictures or design beautiful things, but he will have the emotional, artistic temperament, which loves beautiful surroundings, and is most sensitive to colour, music, and all the fine arts. It largely depends on the kind of Head Line and the will power shown by it, to determine whether its owner will develop the natural artistic temperament that he or she possesses.

Such hands being generally full, fleshy, or soft, there is always a decidedly pronounced indolence in the nature which, if not overcome, combats the hard work necessary to achieve any real result. All very emotional people have more or less the characteristics of this type, but great numbers simply squander their time in the appreciation of art, rather than in making the effort in themselves to create it.

The harder and firmer this type of hand is, the more likely it is to find that its possessor will really make something out of his artistic temperament.

I can also see your thumb.
I think the joint is rather stiff; your thumb doesn´t bend backward much.
They say that in this case, the person has a more resistant nature. This means you don´t change your opinions easily and are not easily influenced by others´ viewpoints when they express something to you.
Also, the middle phalange of your thumb is longer than the upper one. The middle phalange represents logic, and the top or nail portion represents will. I guess logic plays a more significant role in your judgments or actions.

=>The Finger of Saturn(middle finger) when long gives prudence, love of solitude and a reserved, studious disposition.
=>The Finger of Mercury(little finger) when long gives mental power, grasp of languages, and power of expression, especially in speech.

I also notice that your middle finger is leaning towards your ring finger. (I´m not certain if it´s true, haha) But some people in Korea say that in this case, you depend on your spouse more than your parents. (If it leans towards your index finger, then they say you depend on your parents more than your spouse)
