Out of Bounds (OOB)
For the planets of the birthchart I can see when a planet is Out of Bounds.
Is this also possible for the progressive planets?

Hi Ilene,

there is currently no direct option to see declinations of the progressed planets, but you might us this workaround:

1) there is a quick link for transit chart of your "transit/progressed date" of your progression chart:

2) and this link will jump to transit chart, where you can click (in the right column) on that date "25 May 1944, 08:02h" ...

3) and that link in the right column will jump to the natal chart of that moment "25 May 1944, 08:02h [UT/GMT]"

and here you can already see the declinations of your current progressed planets

https://horoscopes.astro-seek.com/c…

(however you shouldn´t take into account positions/declinatios od ASC & MC - they are calculated separately/differently than planets)

Out of bounds means that a planet is above the declanation of the maximum of the Sun, which is 23.27.
It means that the planet act more in his own way, more free thinking etc.
The easiest way to remember is:
OOB is thinking / acting Out Of the Box.
How strong that is depends on how big the difference is with 23.27.

A planet can also go OOB during the progression or just not anymore.
Above Petr shows how you can see it for the progressions.

Don´t forget then to click after the Secundary Progressions on the Transit/progressed date (in blue above the Birthchart).

Can anyone tell me if an example of a planet out of bounds would be sun in taurus 24 degrees and mars in libra 0 degrees ? i keep hearing about 23 degrees or higher .... Does it matter that i mentioned zodiac sign would the answer be the same if i didnt mentioned taurus and libra ?

Do out of bounds planets have to involve the sun ? Is mars in libra 0 degrees with neptune in Sagittarius 26 degrees out of bounds

Are out of bounds planet only for natal astrology ? Can a certain transit mean you have a planet/s temporarily out of bounds ?

Just as it is hard to ignore the :151: in New Guinea, Eritrea, and Ecuador, it is not easy to ignore the Sun in Astrology!
When the OOB planet escapes the ecliptic it is escaping the path of the Sun.
Something is always outside of the ecliptic in the Solar System, the Solar System is a wild place :129:
