I’m reminded of Buddha’s story and how the full moon was so impactful.

I guess the question we should ask ourselves is, is it really astrology that is limited, or the skill of the particular astrologer? I’ve seen some really freaky stuff from mundane astrologers and those who utilize a ‘micro astrology’, tracking stuff by the seconds with divisional charts etc.

I don’t mean just natal, also transit, progression, return, etc charts. I’ve heard that the moon phases and the role of outer planets have been linked to ‘enlightenment’. Astrology is so layered, and perhaps it’s that many don’t have the keys to access it fully just yet?

I see astrology like a magnifying scope. It can either be very general or very specific depending on analysis and intuition and techniques used. Usually if you’re just reading natal charts it won’t tell you everything. Then there are different areas within astrology like medical, horary, electional, and all sorts of predictive techniques. If you’re looking for very precise, it can be done but it takes more time.

No offense, but I find this belief in free will and shunning of fate to be a sort of personal bias and privilege. In a sense both of these conceptions are really misapprehensions. Astrology reflects whatever, even the choices you make.
