8danny8 » starbet Anyone, of any placement, can successfully be vegan. I am a Cancer sun who became vegetarian in fourth grade after learning about the cruelties of factory farming. For the last two years, I have been vegan.

Veganism is sustainable and healthy! My favorite way to get protein is from lentils, garbanzo beans, black beans, tofu, and mushrooms. It is extremely ethical because you A) aren´t killing animals and B) are lessening your carbon footprint.

There are a plethora of meals and deserts that you can derive pleasure from! Don´t let anyone tell you otherwise. I love baking and my meat eating friends actually prefer my vegan goods. Use 1/4 cup of apple sauce as a replacement for eggs in any recipe and vegan butter or coconut oil for regular butter. Apple sauce is a brilliant binding agent and adds more moister and sweetness than eggs.

Here is an easy, quick, satisfying, and protein packed vegan meal. Great for food prep as it will last in the fridge for two weeks max.

Lentil Curry:
1 tablespoon coconut oil
1 tablespoon both cumin seeds and coriander seeds
1 head garlic, chopped (approximately 10 to 12 cloves)
1 onion, chopped
28 ounce can of crushed tomatoes
2 tablespoons ginger
1 tablespoon turmeric
2 teaspoons sea salt
1 cup dried brown lentils
2 teaspoons cayenne powder
3 cups water
15 ounce can coconut milk

First, put the coconut oil, garlic, and onion in a pan. Brown the onion then add all the spices. Add the water, crushed tomatoes, and coconut milk with the lentils. Bring to a boil and let simmer until lentils are soft (30 to 45 minutes). Enjoy with rice or naan!

I have only ever dated two people, and both of them were Leo suns with water moons. I really like Leos but after this last guy I have sworn off of them.

As a Cancer, I really like the Taurus energy. I also like air risings :) I am always partial to Taurus, Leo, Aries and Cancer venus placements.

I go for a 2 1/2 mile run 6 days a week. Every other day, I do weight training and take my dog for a walk every day. I want to get into surfing because I live near the beach but will be moving for college soon.

When I´m on my period, I suffer from cramps so I do yoga and my dog walks instead. Running is too intense and worsens the pains on those days :,)

Tuesday is great for getting a hard work out in! Tuesday is Mars day, all about action and aggression. Perfect to burn some energy! Monday is Moon day, ideal for a rest day. Remember to stretch and recover!

Cancer is ruled by the Moon, which is representative of the Mother. A Cancer can either be the nurturing and giving Mother, or one that is manipulative and dramatic. Something important to recognize is the difference between a developed and an undeveloped Cancer.

As with any zodiac sign, the undeveloped person will be prone to drama, anger, jealousy, and other negative traits. The developed person (who is both self aware and actively bettering themselves) will exhibit the positive traits of their sign.

Like the Moon, Cancer´s emotions will ebb and flow. As a water sign, we are emotional. Although I have a Cancer sun, I have noticed the most conflict I´ve ever had with a person have been with fellow Cancers (on two occasions).

I am also a vegan Aries moon :) I have a Cancer sun and Sagittarius rising. What are some of your favorite crystals? I love honey calcite and recently got some pink tourmaline- it is so pretty! I have a few big chunks of rose quartz around my trailer to promote self love (but I hear it isn´t great for motivation).

I love yoga! I am trying to become more flexible. I am a runner, and love jogging every day. During my menstrual cycle, I experience cramping that prevents this, so I do yoga instead. It is so relaxing and helps with the pain.

Tarot is always fun! My favorite book is "Tarot for Life" by Paul Quinn. It is extremely informative.

The longest relationship I´ve ever had was with a Pisces moon. While he genuinely cared about me and my emotions, I could not bring up anything emotional without him getting unreasonably upset (even if the situation did not involve him!). These people are passive empaths and can suffer from codependency. They need time alone to reset and calm their energy.

An undeveloped Pisces will be manipulative, either consciously or unconsciously. It may be difficult to call them out because of how butthurt they get.

I believe there are certain relationships we will have in this lifetime that are essential to our spiritual growth. There may be past life ties or patterns we need to break, and our relationship with other people can lead to those revelations.

The answer always lies in the stars. I love astrology and I use it as a tool for self development and deciding when to plan out events (I.E. surgery, when to plant, when to release music, etc etc).

If you want to look at compatibility, you can use synastry. Look at the aspects between each other´s moon (emotions, memory), mars (aggression, sexual passion, how you take action), venus (aesthetics and love language), and mercury (communication). If you want to look at how you may have known this person in a past life, inspect their North Node and Lilith in combination with your own.

It is a general rule of thumb to know that the Universe has brought every person into your life for a reason. Use your relationships and what you learn from a partner as a way to better yourself.

There are quite a few aspects that are essential to performing any reading. While the sun sign is important, there are many other aspects that astrologers must dive into to give an accurate and insightful reading.

I always start with the rising sign. While planetary placements are quintessential, the rising sign lets you know what house each of these planets lay in. Then, I like to look to the moon. The moon is so much more than just your emotions: it shows your relationship with your mother, your childhood, your deeper desires. It gives you an idea of who this person is at their core.

After that, I address the sun sign. Particularly now that we can see which house it is in, we can see what they pride themselves upon and where their sense of self begins. For example, if we are looking at a Taurus with his sun and mercury in his third house of communication and local community, we can see Taurus prides himself upon his community and may suffer from codependency. He may be stubborn as a bull in his communication style, but it is what makes Taurus himself!

Then, I like to look at their mercury (communication), mars (aggression, how they take action, sexual passion), and venus (aesthetics and love language). What placements they have here and what house they are in are of grave importance.

An aspect that often gets overlooked is one´s North Node. The North Node is essential in every person´s life as it gives key insight into their past lives and what energy they need to harness in this lifetime. I also am a huge fan of one´s Lilith because it shows their "alter ego" or aspects that they repress.
