Uranus in Aquarius in the 8th can indicate some frigidity or more cerebral approach to sexuality. Pluto is conjunct Mars, but I would also consider the opposition of Saturn, these can show repressed sexuality, rooted in a fear of loss of control, loss of power, or fear of being physically vulnerable.

Both Pluto and Uranus are known to go to extremes, from one end of the spectrum to the other. And they are tied into their sexual planets (Venus, Mars).

Having a Scorpio Moon maybe it will change.

I doubt she is asexual. Humans are sexual beings. Ferns, fungi, yeasts,... are asexual.

I can assume there´s a blockade on it, like in the 5th house :164: but also :160: which may indicate she will overcome this wound.

Mars is in 5th too, in :179: which may indicate passion and happiness. :199: in :181: in 8th may eventually indicate an alternative sex experience. I´m not an xp astrologer, but my thoughts are she´s not on terms with an aspect of her sexuality and she suppresses it by claiming not being interested in sex. Once she overcomes this, it will flow.

I understand. I was very insecure being a young boy about sex, I did not know I had Asperger´s at the moment. Once I cleaned up the mess in myself and had 2 relationships in a row besides some ehm... messing around. One of those became my wife. I also claimed I was asexual, because I never had a gf or watched porn. This has completely turned and now I have to watch myself not to loose myself and my values.

So I don´t know how old your friend is, but I really doubt she is asexual unless she´s a mushroom or so :61:

Ruler of 8th, Saturn, in opposition to sexually passionate planets Mars and Pluto

Uranus in 8th squaring Venus probably doesn´t help

Chiron in 5th as well

Menopause :2:

Pluto in Sag, your friend is still young yet. I don´t know her background or state of mind. Barring any traumatic events, mental, or religious reasons, I would look towards physical health / hormonal imbalances for an answer.

This may seem a bit harsh but I mean well.

First, do not blame the sky and planets. They are not the cause, they are just a symbol. Fate is something you carry within yourself, something that cannot be dodged. You create your future fate based on how you deal with your current fate (ie. the one you created for yourself in the past). Its a constant flow. ACCEPTING this and accepting your own responsibility is the first step and HUGE relief. It grants inner freedom and also the energy you are currently refusing and are even fighting against will be at your disposal.

This is inevitable, no matter how hard you try to avoid the conflict, even by taking your own actual life. Next time things will get even more oppressing and demanding.

Since I also have Saturn and Jupiter in the 12th, I can relate quite a bit. You were born near the previous great Jupiter-Saturn conjunction, which is a call to spiritual progress for every human. I was born during the one before that, thats why the positions are similar. My harshest crisis was around my 20 years of age. Took a few years. And I think I can afford to say that your problem is more spiritual-based than you can imagine. Saturn and Jupiter pairing in the 12th in such a manner indicate that you should not look for the answers outside. They will NEVER satisfy you. You may have a tendency to relate the futility of all life and the world to a romantic relationship (or a lack of it), but it is a false flag, a projection of inner problem, of inner call. The most difficult and misleading projection.

And if your life seems futile, there is always a noble option of spending it in service to the others rather than giving it up. If it does not feel like an option to you, than it is time to admit that it is simply a selfishness that drives you.

I strongly suggest you try and take full responsibility for your life as soon as possible. Responsibility truly means being able to response, to answer for everything that happens in your life, to relate to it no matter how unpleasant or detached it seems. Every single thing, event, thought or feeling in your everyday life is fully related to you through your perception and psyche. If you give up on any of them, you are giving up part of your responsibility and thus giving up a part of control of your liife and fate. Yes, you can then blame the world for anythig that happens - but only because you allowed it in the first place.

Please do not take this personally, the problem of responsibility is actually the most crucial and most actual spiritual problem of the whole modern mankind, which is actually very immature. People do not even feel responsible for their own thoughts and feelings. Blaming others for how we feel is just the tip of the iceberg of our spiritual immaturity. Blaming astrology is on the same level.

I am just stressing this in your case as I feel it concerns you more as you are probably ready to do something with it - unlike the majority of people. And being ready actually means that life is going to push you painfully into realizing it. The golden key you are looking for is in your attitude to your responsibility. Once (if) you manage to accept it, the planets in your 12th will reveal their secrets and blessing. What seems like a curse now will be a blessing from another level of view. You just need to get there and thats something noone can do for yu.

Good luck :29:

Well, it´s a miracle human race still exists, so I think the better is to realize that existence is just a miracle, we can´t explain it but we are here hah.

We also know nobody solved a single problem in history of humanity by blaming determinism, past lives, karma, or whatever, it´s not practical at all. You are here and now, and you have a birth chart like all of us, so be practical, problems are problems since they have solutions.

By the things you say, I looked at your chart and saw you have Saturn at 12th house, so there it is your father figure (Saturn), hidden to your eyes (12th house). So I checked Capricorn (ruled by Saturn) and there you have your 8th house cusp, the house of transformation, of "rebirth", etc, and the 9th house cusp, the house of philosophies, foreign countries, etc, about the huge size of the world and the experiences that you can have there.

Astrology has tools like astrocartography that help us all to check where we can tune up our experience in life to work better as humans, to know better ourselves too, and many things more. You wont "escape" from your birth chart, but you can experience it in more constructive ways for sure. At least what you write doesn´t look any constructive for you at all. So, I think you can try some relocation charts to broaden your horizons, everybody sees the world in a different way when changing locations, and astrocartography shows how does it works. Sometimes you have to go and find yourself elsewhere, there are thousands and thousands of people that can tell you their stories about that. Knowledge is there now, the tools today are one click away, let´s use them.

And no, may be that´s not the only solution you have, but it´s a nice one to open your mind to different possibilities that life has there for you if you decide to go for them. Your MC is at 1 degree, I think you will do it.

Good luck! :36:

Saturn is always a place of testing, you have him in the 12th house, I believe he denies the affairs of the house until yours 30 years old… and then he releases. who knows what lesson you will have and will be able to help others… we all have blessings disguised as crosses… after a while you can see the reason for everything

The statement is made all the time "It can´t get any worse than this!"
The road to hell is not shades of grey, it is decorated with gaudy flags and Hell has fifteen levels! :20: :21: :20: :21:
You would find in your next life "retrogradation" things just sorta kinda "backwards" from the way they should be!

"I thought this was just a temporary troubling phase of my life, but the planets in the 12th house will be in effect for the rest of my life. I will always suffer, and there is no hope of my recovery."

As far as I know, the one of the best ways to "survive" hard natal is troughout composite (natural marriage) that you´ll build with the partner of your inner choice.

Your SN is in the 8th house of energy merge (love - natural marriage) and it is the startnig point of evolution of your soul that should peak in Cancer 2nd house, where you´ll fully learn to attach to your own body troughout pleasure.

This does not mean that you should start the hunt for a partner right now, and choose whoever you feel slightest attraction, but to have a hope and peace that the one you feel as fully yours, will eventually appear and make life sweeter and easier.

"I just don´t understand why I was born with this fate. "

No one really knows. But past life theories give the brain something to work with, and "you chose this fate" narrative reduces complaining and psychological work for astrologers to do, when their clients start asking.

My view is that it´s due to our parent´s experiences prior conception/birth, since past life narratives can be applied to our parent´s life etc. In 12th seems it´s more likely tumultuous/traumatic sort of experience.

"I don´t want to be too fatalistic and whine about the unfairness of the world, I just really don´t understand why I was born, if in the end I have to destroy myself. I thought this was just a temporary troubling phase of my life, but the planets in the 12th house will be in effect for the rest of my life. I will always suffer, and there is no hope of my recovery. What a trash."

I do not like it myself, but living abroad seems to alleviate it.. not sure to what degree. Why does that work I´m not sure. Perhaps because the planets can pop out of the 12th into the 1st or 11th(?) if you move significantly far from the place of birth, perhaps you don´t have to go that far out.. I wish lol.

"I just don´t understand why I was born with this fate."

Karma. Everything we are "born with" is a result of our own actions in past lives.

"I just really don´t understand why I was born, if in the end I have to destroy myself."

Everyone´s mission in life is to "destroy themselves", because what we identify as "ourselves" is about 97% ego: something which needs to be destroyed. This is the point of human existence.

With all those 12th house planets, meditation may be a good solution for you, but expect your subconscious to throw up some things you don´t want to see/would rather not deal with.

Does not mean they can´t be dealt with.

Well if you use Whole Signs you only have one planet in the twelfth house.

Regardless there are positive aspects to the twelfth house that you can lean into.

And just because self-undoing is one connotation of the twelfth house doesn´t mean that has to happen to you. There have been many people with twelfth house placements who haven´t destroyed themselves.

Wow you have +80 degree 12th house using placidus system. And still no desire for isolation? For starters I have discovered in my years of study and observation that not all of the keywords will fit in for everyone.

Do you see any of the 12th house keywords describing any of your life. Esp with Venus here. Venus usually shows us what we are attracted to. Where we experience pleasure and joy. Jupiter and Saturn here could shed some insight here as well. Jupiter can help give an understanding on the specific area which is being interpreted. Saturn could show somewhere you have the discipline to use one of the keywords???

Just curious and thanks for the post

I have sun, mercury, venus, pluto, moon and chiron in 12th house Scorpio wholesign, sidereal. My Venus in Anuradha makes me very "devotional" and "sacrificing" in love which is so true. I met this girl online (Venus in 12th house foreigner) I thought it was a fated meeting from a past life, I was overly romanticising us. When things went south it was very one sided, I was so heartbroken I went on to sharing the synastry 2 years back here and it was a very intense connection (very karmic), told by everyone. Guess what, the girl was a pot addict and low-key narcissist. It was a big loss but what others don´t tell you is time passes and it heals. I learned so much about myself and if I were to go back, I´d laugh and tell my old self to hang on good things are coming. That actually taught me self love and I had a major glow up. You "can" control somethings and just because you´ve one bad placement doesn´t mean you´re forever doomed to find love hahaha I remember I went on a rant here on astroseek on "love" :61:. Just remember, put yourself first, be gentle and don´t give that much power to someone over you, you deserve all the happiness.

It´s like one negative turned into such a big positive!

What do you mean by you want experience love outside of social norms?

Loneliness isn´t perfect word for what I meant. Look at it this way: If you like your solitude how do you use it? 12th house is about being with your inner You, maybe self-examination through astrology, but at the same time I guess you are curious and playful girl. The thing is many people are all about emotional drama which coming from mindset of inability to be alone and this can be very tiring for someone who knows the feeling of inner independence.

My suggestion is to be with someone who will tolerate and protect your connection to whatever you do or feel when you are alone and be willing and able to talk about it, share it.

Regarding your current situation, I know from my own experience once you gain stronger independence we talked about earlier, you will be more able live desired kind of loneliness even while talking to people.

This is my approach to how I understand your problem. Take from it what you want. :181: :153:

There´s good advice given from others here, I specially liked reading Tomdos post.

First thing you have to do is eliminate that fear. We always learn best by experiences, so that’s how you’ll figure it out and learn to notice the red flags to relationships that aren’t good for you. . .

I have those 3 same planets in my 12th. You have to learn to be content by yourself. Embrace your loneliness, your solitude, it is very important you do so. I was married to someone for 5yrs and together for about 8, he was always out of town because of his job, months on end. Because I was also so young at that time, it was real difficult but that relationship made me realize many things about myself, even if love doesn’t last forever it does make you grow, for the rest of your life.

My last long term relationship, I met him as he was working 2 offices away from me. Everyday we were together, probably the best start to relationship I ever had, he was my best friend. 7-8 months in, he took a new job opportunity. Then, I went through the same as I did with my 1st husband. He was a rep, travelled every month Internationally and this went on for years. Even apart, I never felt alone.

Built trust and faith that you are worthy of love, your relationships might be different than others and that’s okay.

I’ve met abusive partners, those drug addicts (that are just waiting to be saved) you’re better than that! and with experience and knowing yourself, you’ll be able to see those red flags. It needs to start with yourself; don’t be afraid to fall in love.

Lastly, what´s wrong with foreign men ?? In my eyes, hmm very sexy. You might learn a different love language there :2:
