My mother has this placement.
She actually feel " ashamed" for spend her money on herself.
She is always investing in others even doing sacrifices and charity constantly.
I don´t like it cause she really seem disconnected from their own worth and pleasure of things. She prefer to buy best things for others than her.

I have Pluto in my 2nd house and Chiron in my 10th house conjunct my midheaven and opposing a 4th house Saturn in Capricorn, so while I love nice things, I am very poor and don’t have many of them. I do tend to feel judged for the few nice things I have or if I get my nails done once in a great while or something, like people are going to say that I shouldn’t ever treat myself to anything nice because I’m not well off.

your venus aries is in your 11th house, so amoung your peers you may come off as agressive and forward but venus aries can still be beautiful and fully feminine. Rihanna has venus in aries in her 1st house.

you have jupiter and moon in your 1st house, Jupiter is masculine and larger than life, but with moon in 1st house and the ruler of your 2nd house...I dont think you have a problem accessing your feminine properties

I have Venus in Sagittarius in the 12th and I also feel this way. I´m trying to be proud of my accomplishments, but really I just got lucky. My husband is extremely smart and successful. So, we no longer worry about money and I don´t have to work anymore. There are so many people struggling to pay bills that I don´t want to offend anyone by talking about money and spending. I mostly try to not talk about money but it sometimes slips out and I feel awkward afterwards. My 8th house of other people´s money is Leo, ruled by the Sun in my 2nd house of income and possessions, and my 8th house has Jupiter. So, I´ve always figured that´s where my luck resides. You can´t control what others think. But I do try to be respectful and mindful about my words and what I talk about.

My Venus is in the 7th house and I also find myself feeling uncomfortable in similar manner.

I like the finer things in so much as I can afford them ánd feel a need for them, less is more.

It´s usually when interacting with people that I realise how those posessions are valued externally.

And then I get annoyed with the level of attachment people have to material things. The superficiality of it, and missing the undertones of life beneath.

I find the answers people have given to be very interesting. I can see that possibility, though - shame for material desires. I bet there are other responses of Venus in the 12th too - depending upon the sign it´s in and the rest of the chart. Would be great to hear other experiences.

Do you also think the 12th house gives you creativity? The 12th house can be a creative house, and Venus is an artist. Also, the 12th his the house of a Mystic - and I´d think people with Venus there could also feel drawn to spiritual practice.

Nah not at all.

Although Venus may not be the strongest planet in the chart when in Aries, her qualities are still there, just filtered through Aries. Most I´d say is maybe it´s not the "classic", romanticized version of Venus associated with Venus in Taurus, Libra, or Pisces.

You probably have a somewhat aggressive, impulsive attitude towards love. Nothing wrong with that, and nothing I´d personally classify as "masculine" or "feminine".

Your moon in the first probably helps you to project some feminine energy too.

No. I really don´t think this is generally accurate. I don´t think one or two planets are going to represent the whole of one´s femininity or masculinity anyway. Of course, some people will relate to almost any interpretation.

:171: and first house and :155: are the basis of the saying
"If looks can kill"
"They probably will!"
Eris in this time of history is just barely on life-support in the sign of Aries. It´s like femininity is marginalized in this cataclysmic century!
Venus is sometimes the poker-faced hincty Ofay Lawyeress.
Venus is sometimes the wine sipping voluptuous privileged decoration.
I would place :154: in your tenth house which means control could whip it into line unlike the other houses which would detract from your voice of Authority!

I have Aries Venus in the 1st house and it´s also conjunct my ascendant.

I feel I´m in touch with my femininity sometimes but I definitely feel a lot more comfortable with being natural, regardless of my Venus in 1st/conjunct ascendant. I also have Moon Square Venus which I read indicates struggles with femininity because both planets have to do with two different female energies.

I have Venus in 12th. conjunct Jupiter and Saturn. This feeling extends not only in the items I buy or the home I live in, its also my career, earnings. . .

Here´s an old quote I saved in my personal notes, might help you too. idk.

“New York is 3 hours ahead of California, but that doesn’t make California slow. Someone graduated at the age of 22, but waited 5 years before securing a good job. Someone became a CEO at 25, and died at 50. While another became a CEO at 50 and lived to 90 years. Someone is still single, while someone else got married. Obama retired at 55 and Trump started at 70.

Everyone in this world works based on their own time zone. People around you might seem to be ahead of you and some might seem to be behind you. But everyone is running their own race, in their own time. Do not envy them and do not mock them. They are in their time zone and you are in yours.

So, relax and do you!”

I´d recommend you reading "The science of getting rich, The science of being well and The Science of being Great, a trilogy written by W. Wattles in 1910. These teachings have truly helped me overcome those barriers. The book is an easy read and you could probably find it under 10$.

It´s easy to say "stop comparing yourself to others, but the more you do it, the easier it will be. :68:

I don´t have this placement but a (female) family member does. She does behave in that way, but she comes from a culture which values modesty so I assumed that was the cause. She downplays her wealth/items but is very seeking/concerned with wealth at the same time. She is a Capricorn with Jupiter in Taurus.

Sorry to say, she is still the same way and I have known her for a long time. But, she has Venus square Pluto and Uranus.

Perhaps you can use your air sign qualities (Gemini and Aquarius) to intellectualize your feelings. Talk logic to yourself, when you start to feel embarassed. Tell yourself: you are only making conversation and connection with someone, not showing off. Ignore Saturn in Taurus making you feel anxious about wealth and comforts. I also have Venus in Aries--we like to get nice things and we socialize in a child-like, straightforward way. There´s nothing wrong with it! :17: You have Venus semisquare Jupiter; I have Venus square Jupiter and we can appear spoiled.

Well the person in astrology or her sexuality will be defined by malefic planets not by benefic planets but also pluto can give like trascedental planet can give sexuality.Mars Satun Pluto will always give sexuality in person.Benefic planet can give a pleasure in person some sweatness but never sexuality.

Sexual energy cannot be "dispensed with", or simply "disappear." It is the most powerful force in the universe...the creative force...whether you are "asexual" or not, you are here because of it...everything that is alive is filled with sexual energy.

If it cannot be expressed in the way it was meant to be, it will express itself in other ways of a negative variety: disorders, perversions, sicknesses, etc.

The sexual energy can be sublimated...but it is doubtful that those who declare themselves "asexual" are spending hours a day doing pranayama (specific breathing exercises) to sublimate their sexual force...and even then, the sexual energy does not disappear, it is merely redirected into proper channels, under the guidance and control of the practitioner...not repressed, or treated with an attitude of aversion.

Hi :)
Unfortunately i cant tell you why she is asexual according to her birth chart ... But i had to write here, because i have read several times that asexuality doesnt exist and it makes me really annoyed and a little angry, when people tell other people what they are or are not, because to me it feels like a disrespect.

If your friend says she identifies as asexual, she is asexual and the only person allowed to question this is herself. :))

I second what most people here seemed to agree on - that no person is truly asexual, and I think here we are not speaking about someone who could be prone to a lack of such feelings either. She has Mars conjunct Pluto so on the contrary she could have a huge sex drive. As well, her conjunction takes place in a fire sign (Mars functions well in fire), in the 5th house (need I say more...). 5th house ruler in the 5th (conjunct Mars...), 8th house ruler in the 8th... nah.

Probably she has some kind of block like others´ have mentioned. Mars is in opposition to Saturn. 5th H ruler, Pluto, is also in hard aspect to Saturn. Pluto can be obsessed with control (yes, Pluto can both be obsessed and controlling) - with Mars conjunct Pluto sexuality could possibly be power based. She is a Cancer Sun with a Scorpio Moon which may or may not support this (wanting control in general). As a Cancer Sun/Asc we should be dealing with someone extraordinarily sensitive; chart ruler Moon is in Scorpio in the 4th too, squaring Neptune in the 7th. Venus in Taurus, especially coupled with that Cancer Sun should give much sensuality. Perhaps she has trust issues, or didn´t find the right one yet? I see Taurus/Cancer/Scorpio as very possessive and interested in long-term instead of flings (but you never know...) I see also her Venus forms a quincunx to Chiron... that one is possibly a biggie and could lead her to have insecurities in regards to Venusian qualities/areas - love, relationships, appearance...

Well both Venus and Mars are in ´hard´ aspect to Chiron actually... Some wounding in the matters related to these two planets could be present... I don´t want to speculate any more on the exact issue, but whatever it is I´m sure it is not something life-long.

Mars in the 5th house is a sign of strong sexuality.
But it is challenged with :192: from Saturn. Which indicates celibacy or long periods of abstinence. More so because in this combination there is fire sign involved.
Neptune in 7th house does not help also. It gives sometimes unrealistic expectation of love or falling in love with someone that is out of reach.
