I don´t know if there is an objective.

I´m not a big conspiracy theorist. I basically think that collectively, humanity is a pretty dumb entity...and the more they disconnect themselves from nature/reality, the dumber they get. (This willful disconnection is called "progressive ideology" in political circles.)

So basically, as we lose touch with reality, our decisions are naturally going to get poorer and poorer.

But regardless of the underlying causes of our situation, if you put shit in, you get shit out.

I´ve always been fascinated with people´s belief that there was some sort of external "devil", or "Satan" pulling the strings and driving us towards hell on earth...

Think about it: ALL of the things that make the world a miserable place--pride, vanity, greed, envy, etc--exist right inside of us.

An external Satan is completely unnecessary. (And I believe, non-existent)

Of course, human beings have Divine elements within them as well.

At any rate, the battlefield exists within ourselves.

This is why the only advice regarding how to achieve a peaceful, healthy world that makes sense to me is the "become the change you want to see in the world" school of thought.

But it´s alot easier to not work on yourself, and instead adopt causes and slogans...which in turn, fuel pride and vanity, ensuring that the cycle perpetually repeats itself.

So I don´t think you´re wrong to give the devil too much credit...it´s just a matter of who, and where, the devil is...
