Mars sign and conflict.
I was wondering if you all could write your Mars sign and a description of how you deal with conflict and in particular conflict with friends, family lovers vs. coworkers or strangers.

I am especially interested in hearing from people whose MARS SIGNS are in

1.Capricorn
2.Pisces
3.Libra
4.Leo
5.Aries.

but any are appreciated.

"One took the the gaming system/tv out in the woods and shot at it, in front of the kid. another took a bat to it and made their kid destroy it too..
It was quite funny to watch..."

This sounds like porn to me...

"How on earth do you have patience for meditating?!"
LOL

Meditation is about being with all the thoughts and noise and not shutting them off.

Walking while being with nature w/out adding headsets is an active meditation with I do too. I do need to be active to keep my Mars in Aries happy too.

Irritation at work:
When my Mercury in Pisces square Uranus Rx makes me process new information in the most complicated way slowing the speed at which I learn if it´s not tech info. My Mars in Aries gets annoyed.

Also, hate being told what to do. I like to do things my unconventional way

"I feel caged, and then I start fighting, now I start fleeing lol"
LOL

"lol Scorpio Ascendants get instant Karma it seems, so it keeps me in check."
LOL

"I operated mainly from my Scorpio and Aries side. Now from my Libra and Mars side, how it should be."

Mars in pisces.

The way I handle conflict depends on what the topic is and what is at stake, I guess.

Generally, I´ll avoid it as much as possible. I´ll face confrontation, sure, but without conflict if I can help it. I used to be very explosive in the past. Now, I tend to pick my battles and listen more than speak. And through listening I see if it´s worth saying anything.

When I do say something, I try to detach emotionally as much as possible. I don´t like conflict; it makes me anxious. But I´ve mostly successful in simply sharing what I think/feel and letting the chips fall where they may. The other person will respond however they see fit, that´s their problem. And I´ll do the same without bringing too much emotion into it.
Part of why I´ve chosen to be less emotional when dealing with conflict is because (1) things can escalate if we just feed off of each other and I´ve had people say whatever to get some kind of reaction out of me and I don´t like that. (2) Being less emotional helps me keep things in perspective and be less defensive. Most of the time.

Conflict with family is easy to deal with. It passes quickly. We´re pissed one second and I´m more willing to shout right back at them. Next second, we´re over it.

With my closest friend, our last conflict was 2 years ago. We ended up not speaking for months. Now we seem to both be able to express ourselves without taking things personally.

With strangers, I don´t even bother. I don´t see the point in it.

With coworkers, I´d say that I give in a lot more. Not that there have been major issues to begin with. Again, picking my battles. I put my foot down when I need to, otherwise I don´t see the point.

How on earth do you have patience for meditating?!

I tried doing that, sitting still and trying to calm myself, and it just got me more restless..bahaha. Movement calms me.

So your biggest area of irritation is at work?
Mine is relationships with people.
It´s why I choose to stay single. I absolutely cannot handle when someone tries to become possessive with me. I feel caged, and then I start fighting, now I start fleeing lol

The earlier description is how I deal with conflict now..but in my 20´s I was much more volatile. I used to be sooo Vengeful too, but I outgrew that..for the most part. lol Scorpio Ascendants get instant Karma it seems, so it keeps me in check.

I operated mainly from my Scorpio and Aries side. Now from my Libra and Mars side, how it should be.

Has the way you deal with conflict changed for your over the years?

Interesting approach.

Me:
Mars in Aries in the 10th house
-Conjunct Sun in Aries and Venus in Pisces all in the 10th house
-Opposite Saturn Rx and Jupiter Rx in Libra (prevents me from fully exploding Aries style)

-Squared by Cancer Asc
-Moon in Scorpio in the 5th (deep emotions!)

-Mercury in Pisces conj MC (challenges how I express my emotions when anger is involved)
-Neptune in the 6th house (causes so many challenges at work)

At times very frustrating with any kind of conflict that I find triggering or irritating especially at work!

There’s the trying to find middle ground while being very impatient, defensive and imploding (all mostly in the past)!

Meditation and working on the triggers and irritants has been the best way to work around this!

I try to find a way to address the conflict directly with the person I’m having the issue because it tends to ease the emotions attached to the conflict (I´ve tried this in the past too. However, I´m better at doing it now).

How do I deal with conflict? I address it directly, then depending on others responses, it varies.

If I start feeling aggressive, I´ll start exercising, go running or something.
If I´m ignored, I´ll go out and get attention from someone else.
If I´m emotionally exhausted, I´ll binge watch my favorite sitcoms to get mind off it, or if I´m at work, I will be more productive then normal.
If I´m not sure what to do about a situ..I´ll counsel someone with a very similar situ and end up taking my same advice. Haha

Basically I keep myself busy, and withdraw from the one I´m in conflict with.

If I´ve been wronged, the scales have to be balanced TO MY SATISFACTION in order for me to forgive and move on, or I´ll hold resentments against the person FOREVER until they are.

The longer the problem lingers, the more things need to be done to correct it, because the time that passes only makes things worse.

If they don´t even attempt to take responsibility to right a wrong and try to sweep it under the rug, then they are swept right on out of my life with the infamous INFJ DOOR SLAM.

Simple.

If there are too many mounting problems in multiple areas of my life at the same time. I´ll pack up and move at a moments notice, and start over somewhere else. Traveling seems to do the trick. I LOVE adventure and newness!
Until the cycle repeats.

I´ve lived in 9 different states soo far and visited many others. Maybe if I found a DECENT person they could help "ground" me, but I´m a free spirit, that doesn´t like being tied down and drama, life´s too short for that, I´d rather be out being adventurous and gaining new experiences. :4:

You??

SilverStar,

Was wondering how this shows up for you?

I noticed you have Mars in Capricorn in the 2nd house which is a T-Square with your Moon in Aries in the 4th house and Venus in Libra in the 10th house.

I said radiating phones, not radiating conversations. but on second thought I suppose it Does radiate the brain cells of one, to affect their ability to converse LOL

Very few has yet apparently linked EMFS and anti-social behavior, bad health, etc..Everyone´s worrying about covid, no-ones concerned about the important stuff.

Yeah It´s one thing for it to be a hobby- one temporarily escapes to, that´s fine..It´s quite another for it to be an addiction, and for it to become a fix like any other addiction, sex, drugs what have you. That´s unhealthy, and certainly not productive for the person in the long run.

From working in the psychology field. It´s a downright disservice to kids nowadays. Many have lowered self esteem, and think they fail at life, so they become addicted to gaming, so they can "master" and "win" at something..Very common in the bullied at school category. These are the classic underachievers
These are the people who are the 20-40yr olds living at home gaming in their parents basement or the boyfriends that act more like children when it comes to their beloved gaming system.

A good song that talks about this is Alfie, just substitute weed and porn for gaming.

Mars in Libra in 1st house.

Sextile Leo Sun-Venus conjunction in 11th house.
Semisquare Scorpio Pluto in 3rd.
Semisquare Leo Mercury in 11th.

I never attack someone. I like peace.
I tend to suppress the anger and to be cold in case of confrontation, despite I want win.
I really tend to be a diplomatic, but I became very aggressive if someone crossess the limit.

I often forgive, I NEVER forget.

Dang ya´ll nobody knows when I´m joking. Must be my Scorpio Ascendant again *Sigh*

If you get kids out of the mainstream culture, you can...in a way..if you start young. What I mean by mold, I mean their confidence, drive, ambition to do what they were born to do.

I know a family who lives out in the mountains 30mins from Tucson Az. They have 8 kids and they are all very well behaved, and much more self sufficient and mature then city children. They are old school and actually play outside and socialize. Their mother is hypersensitive to EMF´s so there´s minimal technology in that household. and the children are all well adjusted, driven, healthier, and happier then the one´s raised by todays culture.

The kid was a spoiled teen. and I was joking. Though I can emphasize with parents who have to deal with that shit.

Good policy though. I´d go that route as well :1:

My Mars in Libra makes me, obviously, quite passive in taking actions and deciding what to do in my life.

I´ve noticed that in relationships with others I´m not the initiator, for example, starting conversations about dealing with some problems if I have it with other person and that annoys me.

Also, I feel like I can´t express my emotions (anger, passion) in relationships with others because of Libra´s calm energy. I miss fire energy of opposite Aries in myself.

That would be the opposite of my parenting style.

As I mentioned earlier that I don´t think enough parents recognize the difference of nature versus nurture. Parent think they will mold their child into what they want. Total BS.

I continue to try and understand "who" my son was born as and it´s my job to help guide the positive and point out the negative traits so he can figure out his life out for himself. I´ll always be there for unconditional love and support but he is his own person.

And radiating conversations...?

Some people simply just don´t want to talk to people and when they do talk to people they have nothing in common...

********

Me personally, I hate small talk. I will walk away from you and ignore you if it´s a light conversation and you haven´t done any real research into what you are speaking about.

But most of my conversations have an agenda to them so it goes more like; "what do you want?" Or "This is what I want, can you provide that?" ; that´s about it.

I´m not that much of a small talker...

Thats how I felt, lol!!!

I hated seeing grown people play video games...

But, people need hope. Some kind of escape from reality.

Life is not like it used to be; Bills are harder to pay due to inflation and ect. Some people have bad relationships and just get tired of people or simply dealing with people.

Everyone has thier own problems.

So for some people, a video game is all they have.

But people need some kind of hope/happiness.

**********

But trust me, I know the feeling of watching someone playing madden, or call of duty and just wanting to take a bat and destroy it. :21:

But... for some people its all the hope that they have....

once watched a youtube video where the parents were sick of their kids addictions to gaming that they found very funny but aggressive ways of dealing with it. One took the the gaming system/tv out in the woods and shot at it, in front of the kid. another took a bat to it and made their kid destroy it too..
It was quite funny to watch...

That sounds a bit traumatizing for a child, I´d rather just go the less psychotic route if and when I have kids. They won´t ever be aloud to have it.... Can´t miss what you never had.

Problem solved.

First thought that came to mind was what Fishscales already said...I think that´s more generational. Every damn person it seems is addicted to technology nowadays..People don´t know how to have conversations anymore they sit there with their damn radiating phones, or rush back home to play games. Grown ass men too!

I once watched a youtube video where the parents were sick of their kids addictions to gaming that they found very funny but aggressive ways of dealing with it. If you really want to scare the living shit out of your kid...Show him one of those videos and imply that you´re getting ideas, if he doesn´t shape up. :61:

I´d think for sure there is a generational element. I just noticed his friends, that he plays his games with, have other interests too like sports, music, travel, food etc. Him... Eh, not so much.

Having a kid really hit home for me the difference between nature and nurture. No matter what I´ve tried to introduce my son to rarely ever sticks and he is nothing like myself or his mom. He is who he is and I can only try and guide his nature the best way I see fit.

I have freinds who have kids that are like mini versions of them. They have all similar interests and a natural affinity for doing things together. No pulling teeth to get them to do something simple like go to a restaurant. :63:

"He has to be told to do EVERYTHING. Not much initiative outside of playing video games."

Hmm... I wonder how much of that is astrological, and how much is generational though...

More or less the same problem here, although my kids´ Mars signs are all over the map...

Those video games are hypnotic...addictive... I´m glad they always gave me headaches, and I never fell into any of it

Granted, I can see Mars in Pisces specifically having a problem with motivation though..
