I got Mercury in the 1st in Libra. It´s a pain in the arse. It won´t stop analyzing and thinking about things as it is the main avenue of interacting with the world.
It´s always think first, ask questions later. It makes me someone who really thinks for himself though, and that is very valuable.

6th House is the house of service/working for others. The 6th H/12th H is the axis of "serve or suffer". Here in the 6th House, originally ruled by virgo, mercury is in the earth element so it deals with earthy issues. The sign of your 6th shows your attitude to work, how you are dealing with your daily routines, how you work/daily routine relates to small animals, how you deal with disputes, arguments, diseases, work-place enemies, etc..
A planet in the 6th House will be flavored with the theme of the 6th house. So for example if you have your sun in here, then you are creating (sun) a daily routine (6th H), or a job (as working under someone else for a salary), your job/daily routine might include dealing with small animals, dealing with diseases, etc.. , the sign will give you the attitude, like how you deal with those issues.
I´ve read it also give disputes (6th House) with father/Sun (or the parental masculine figure )or maybe the father was sick/hospitalized, or maybe he was/is very critical, etc.. but i believe this is a case-by-case type of situation.

I am scorpio rising so gemini rules my 8th House and virgo rules my 11th House. Ruler of the 8th House is in 11th House. Mercury in virgo is exalted already but since i have influence from the 8th House, it manifests as wanting to use every form of communication to uncover hidden secrets, like i love to go deep into things and somehow i am able to see layers to things, situations, people, etc.. and be patient to go from point A to point B without losing patience, kinda ike a detective! I leave nothing unexplained and everything has to be filtered through hardcore logic. As far as life go, me and my friends/colleagues (University/11th House) are passionate researchers (8th House) and we use our abilities to research for healing possibilities and uncover what lies underneath. My major in uni deals with changing (8th House) people lives through the use of science and manipulation of chemicals (again, you can see the house themes at play if we´re going to consider real life facts).
So, for me (Scorpio rising), as of now, it manifests as having your major in healing sciences (pharmacy) and using your communication skills/intellectual abilities to dig deeper (research/8th House/Learning/gemini) and find solutions to diseases, health issues, etc.. with your friends at uni (11Th House).
In a way the energies of my placements manifest exactly as you´d expect them to do and that´s why i believe astrology, even though i lead a different kind of life, hold some weight.

Stigmi every house has own mission i used weak house but this is ordinary expression for 6th house and i don´t know how to use better word for it. I think 6 and 12th house are house of services and where our ego are lost. İt is bad or good I don´t want to comment because we human being needs ego but also needs to learn how to be without ago and serving each other. Ego necessary because we first need to be human and know ourself. Then we can get rid of our ego and start serving

I read somewhere that 6th house need to be understand as a house of our gifts. It is not gift as Leo, but something that you really can, ability or skill... I think what makes this house hard is that we need to push our ego a side. Because these gifts are not so fabulous as Leo gifts that brings you glory x) It is maybe something very ordinary but it is something that fits like lost puzzle in picture and it brings feeling of commonness but also very indispensability.
So...of course sun loses its power : )

Stigmi actually i try to understand 6th house. Classical astrologer called this house is one of the worst house. I try to understand reason of that. I have my own research and in it this house is really the weakest house. Maybe it is because sun loses it power in this house and moon cannot show its power that is why it can be the weakest house . At the same time i try to understand it it related to things what i described about 6th house. In some cases it doesn´t fit them.

So..something I already described. Its not true that I best communicate with people in work place, but I use communication, thinking, imagination, insight by teaching very much and of course daily.
I dont like talking about health just for complaining or as a conversation theme..but i like to find contexts with psychology, reasons and causes of deseases - psychosomatic. I like to talk about needs of soul and so on...
So rather than health I am interested in healing and every “alternative” ways to this.

I have mercury in gemini in 6th. And i really use it most at my work as a teacher. I like to analyze and to find special details, points of problems. I like psychology and working with people, solving their problems especially on psychological level.My mercury has many aspects mainly with saturn, neptune, pluto. But also it is on desc with cancer venus, and in aspect to jupiter in 8th and in trine to mc in scorpio. So detail and deep work with students/people is really my “destiny”...

Fomal i strongly believe collective consciousness term. But to reach that we need to evolve our souls. We may do something wrong things for that but all of them are experiences. İmportant is will of change yourself. Actually i have been doing it from my childhood. I was so so angry and i had very explosive anger power ( sun square moon and moon square Uranus ) I made decision when i was 10 years old to handle my anger ( sun Uranus conjunction i was like mature person even i was child ). So far i have been working on it. I have had so many successes. Firstly i make my mind all time busy and i make my body busy too. I give myself duties which i must finish. And i give myself very high targets. Then i only concentrate my mission and don´t care whatever people do then I don´t need to get angry with anybody or anything. Now i hang out in this website to learn from people experiences and i have learned many things here. You are on your right path my friend

Not at all you bore and here is my aim to see people´s own experiences. Thank you so much really. You speak faster than others and it very well fits my guess. Actually very hard to handle this. This is a gift but also like a curse. Sometimes can cause headache. You may easily be bored with somethings because mars gives so mmuch energy to mercury with sun and you need to make your mind all time busy but also maybe you need to listen to music frequently to make your brain calm down.

You are so to the point.Yes very fast decision, and two decision I took on the spur of the moment ( I had to suffer also for that)
1. In 1988, I had to select the Engineering college after clearing the entrance examination, and I had decided the college afar from my home town, area which was not much developed...just at the time of councelling
2. Marriage inIndia are arranged sometimes with boy and girl get to see each other, and talk for say 1 hr and they can then give their decision. After I saw this girl and in the drawing room of their family I said yes to the girl ( I had misplaced idealism that , on my part , I would not reject a girl ....my own sister isn´t beautiful and she got rejected by few guys, so I ever I go to see a girl, yes from me)
Secondly , I am not analytical.
When my wife was first time pregnant , I could not decide which Lady Gynaecologist is best or at my Mom´s place or her Mom place delivery should be best cared.then my sister took the decision as she is Capricornian and
Right at her
MidHeaven.They are cool minded and can take dispassionate calculated decision.
Reading Astro charts requires lot of analytical power , that´s why I read posts by intelligent astrologers and marvel at their intellectual ability.
Though I can play chess well.
This again my h3 stellium ....Mars at h3 Taurus is good for Focussed thinking and Chess.
On the negative side h3 MarsConj Murcury make you speak faster than other would assimilate....so I sometimes repeat too , and always put things in the out ,as they are , aspect from Neptune in h9...Whistle Blower aspect I would say,,too Frank and caustic or pungent , if angry.
