11th is the house of Aquarius...

I have Mars in 11th in Taurus and I must say that this is not the most fortunate placement for Mars I don´t see clear advantages of Mars in 11th, I have the feeling it has many bad sides...Maybe I am wrong, that´s only my point of view. I wish I could meet someone who has better experience with that placement

Sun, Moon, Venus there will give politicians, actors, singers - public figures - an audience. As someone else mentioned, Mars can give a fighter for humanitarian causes.

The 11th house is where we find kindred spirits who think like us or are concerned about the same issues, follow the same musicians, worship the same religion, cheer for the same football team, share the same political views, etc.

That whole quadrant - 10th-12th - is a place where we are very aware of our place in society or the social world and our effect upon it, even if in a small way. We "connect" there on more non-personal issues. A Revolutionary leader may have personal planets there.

When looking at the South Node in the 11th, the person has often lost their identity to a movement or cause and needs to reaffirm or develop a personal identity. When doing 11th house work, if we don´t align who we truly are (5th house) with the goals of the 11th house, we can feel unhappy because we´ve lost ourselves in it.

dani_mae1 I have Saturn in the 11th. I’m still trying to figure out myself but I have a manifestation I know of for this placement that happened to me in regards to humanity efforts. During my Saturn return I was working for a company who was breaking employment laws and trying to force me to as well. I didn’t comply, instead I sacrificed my position to save my people. It worked, the people in charge who were involved in the illegal activities were fired after I blew the whistle and my employees all are safe, some even retired now.

Anni23 Actually my 11th house baffles me. On one level it sounds better than has thus far been my experience as it´s in the sign of Leo and also my sun is located there if you use the whole house system. But also chiron. Anyway I have often found it conflictive with what my moon is supposed to mean in the 12th. Also my 3rd house perhaps should make me more communicative, charismatic and popular. Of course popularity has in fact never been a concern for me though. Overall however I just feel that I often do not relate very well to many people I meet. Which is not to say that I have no friends or that I cannot sometimes socialise well but.. I just find myself sometimes socially orientated and sometimes repelled from "society"/meeting people. *Sigh..

Promethean_Soul 11th house works differently with different planets. When with sun it may give group leadership , with mars maybe a fighter for people´s right. With moon maybe a person feels herself very good with their friends. We call this house , house of friends or social groups and i call this house house of humanity. And this house is also related to high wishes and tatgets. It really fits me , i always aim very high targets all my life. In that house Uranus work with high wishes and group activities but you can leave this groups and friends suddenly without looking back. Because i am doing it. I miss my some old friends , I don´t break relationships with them but when i leave behind me my groups then i look forward to another groups. Now I meet people who are interested in astrology i have good time with communicating with them but if oneday i leave study astrology then i will not look back. Uranus is 11th house work like that.

I´ve got some placements that hinder me from being a crowd favorite. And kinda stuck in a rut lately with work and my direction has me kinda merpy. Something I try to work on or figure out. For example, pluto in 1st house, opposite moon. And mars square ascendant. And 70% fire. And probably a couple others I wont mention. I can be too much for alot of people. Maybe I can harness all this BS and ride it like a wild stallion... one day.

I think there is alot of truth to the generic descriptions of the 11th house placements. With Jupiter in 11th is supposedly a very good placement I just re-discovered. I´ve been pretty blessed in some ways. Dealing with the public as a business owner and achieving material success through the support of others. So yeah, I got that going for me. Some people wont listen to a word I say though. I wasn´t the homecoming king or anything not even close

Once again, ....you gotta look at the whole chart, blah blah blah.

For some reason, I´ve neglected studying the 11th house although I´ve got some heavy hitters in there.

Sunnyshadow I´ve got a stellium in 11th house. Sun, Jupiter and Venus. Reading those descriptions give me the warm fuzzies, and yes, some of it rings true. Then I read the lilith description which also sits in my 11th house and it kinda shoots it all to shit. So idk. I´m a hero and a villain. Kinda like Batman 🦇
