How true Waterworld Earth could have been looking like 3.2 billion years ago.

Could be all 2nd-hand speculation about the stages and forms of "exoplanets" what kind of history a Mini-Neptune or Super-Earth have had before we knew there were so freaking many of them!
That goes for the oceanic Venus vision that Sci-news is selling us!

Q1. Yes, it is. I spoke about similar thing in another topic about asteroids and religion.

Q2. One of the theories saying that one of multiple super giant asteroids hitting the planet in relatively soon after each other, let´s say few million years apart, completely demolished Earth´s crust and opened forces inside the planet, which activated tectonics later on. Of course, this is not a scientific website, neither I am aware of everything about it.

I guess you can do your own research and share here your findings and hypotheses.

I read it but there are two unanswered questions:

1. How do isotopes come about? Isn´t the sun also a factor in half life of the decay? Remember we get a lot of particles from the solar wind.

2. Why would there be tectonic plates under water coming above surface? They don´t say if underwater volcanoes made all the landmass then? I don´t think they know why tectonic plates move? What makes them move? Where does the energy come from? Why do they move over each other or against each other?

The presumption is a history of "oceans"; During the Jurassic there were identical dinosaurs on all seven continents because they waded through the marshes between the continents, not oceans.
Giant salt plugs are in the gulf of Mexico to indicate that the Gulf of Mexico was in fact the first Ocean & repeatedly drying out!; Sheer magnitude of the Pacific suggests it was at least the 2nd Ocean.
Mars had a "clean" ocean before the Earth did; Mercury and Mars were merged and had a world we would have lusted after were we traveled back across billions of years!

I just thought it´s significant that such scientific study is released during astrological sign having connotations with waters. Both Pisces and Aquarius do. Libra is also somewhat dual sign, because there are always two or more sides of the coin.
