Jupiter and North Node conjunction in Taurus
Jupiter and the North Node are meeting in Taurus on June 1st. This conjunction hasn’t happened since 2016, in Virgo. Any thoughts on it?

My doctor overcharged me for my Botox injections. I asked that he also treats my jaw because I grind on my teeth so he charged me more than twice, without prior notification!!!! I know it´s a first-world problem, but wasn´t I supposed to be getting other people´s money instead? :42: :9:

Haha it´s okay. Well, in his case it doesn´t matter if the 12th house is empty because the conjunction happens right on his Natal North Node (but the Moon connection is also valid). I don´t think it´s a coincidence that the coronation was held on the 6th of May when the North Node was exactly at 3 degrees (same as his natal orb). ALSO, that day we had a Lunar Eclipse. Guess what happens during an eclipse. Rahu & Ketu come out to play. I suggest you read the myth of Rahu and Ketu because it will make more sense... :46:

I´m not entirely sure how it works for us peasants... The thing with the 8th house is that all gains come at a cost. Nothing is free. Additionally, it will not be your own money. It will always be someone else´s financial gain being transferred to you. If anything were to happen you would most likely gain money through a loss (Venus in the 12th fallen in Virgo trining tJupiter conj. NN). Natal Saturn is also trining this event AND Uranus at the exact degree (2). Honestly, it´s not a good time to receive anything (at least nothing positive) maybe a karmic lesson. But also you may have to pay a karmic debt (or literally a monetary debt).

Sorry, very stressful day... So stressful that I mixed up Signs.

It´s interesting to note that the 12th House has such a big impact. Why do you think?
In the case of King Charles, the conjunction is conjunct his North Node and natal Moon in the 10th!!! Ain´t that crazy? However is 12th House is empty, but it´s Cancer so the Moon is its natural ruler... So here we go again with the 12th House...

In my case, the conjunction is taking place in the 8th House, where my Moon in Taurus is. Venus, ruler of my 8th House is in the 12th. Do you think it will bring me financial gain?

Yeah it´s very interesting. Actually, that´s not quite right. It fell in his 1st house (or 2nd if you use whole sign) because Virgo is after Leo not before, so it couldn´t have been the 12th or 11th. Anyway, I looked at the charts of some other people that I mentioned and this is what I found:

Obama: Aquarius Rising--> Conjunction ocurred in Aquarius (1st house)
George W. Bush: Leo Rising---> Conjunction ocurred in Cancer (12th house)
Tony Blair: Gemini Risign---> Conjunction ocurred in Cancer (2nd house)
Nelson Mandela: Saggitarius Rising---> Conjunction ocurred in Scorpio (12th house)
Margaret Thatcher: Scorpio Rising---> Conjunction ocurred in Virgo (10th house)
Saddam Hussein: He has no birth time so it´s impossible to determine in which house it happened.

Now I discovered something even more interesting. The closer the conjunction happens to the ascendant/1st house the higher the gains.

Trump vs Hillary:

For Hillary, the conjunction took place in her 4th house (Virgo) vs Donald´s 1st house. She has nothing in the 12th or the 4th. Trump has Pluto & Mars (if we use Placidus) or Saturn,Venus and Mercury (if we use Whole Sign) in the 12th

Obama vs John McCain:

For John McCain, the conjunction took place in his 12th house (Aquarius) vs Obama´s 1st house. McCain has an empty 12th house. Obama has Jupiter & Saturn in the 12th

Bush vs Al Gore:

Now this is interesting. For Al Gore, the conjunction took place in his 12th house (Cancer) but the same happened to Bush. The only difference I could find is that Bush has both Sun & Saturn in the 12th, whereas Al Gore has nothing there.

Mandela vs F.W De Klerk:

Again, very interesting. For De Klerk, the conjunction took place in his 11th house vs Mandela´s 12th house. De Klerk had an empty 11th house (Scorpio), but Mandela had the Moon in Scorpio in the 12th.

Thatcher vs James Callaghan (1979 her first term):

Now this is the most interesting. For Callaghan, the conjunction ocurred in his 1st house (Virgo) but he had an empty 1st and 12th. Thatcher on the other hand had a full 12th house (Sun,Mars & Mercury) and Saturn conjunct her Scorpio rising, but her 10th house (Virgo) was empty.

*side note: I couldn´t find a birth time for Tony Blair´s opponent.

Overall, I think two patterns emerge: the closer the conjunction to the 1st house/rising the greater its effect AND if the house where the conjunction occurs is empty, then the 12th house is the deciding factor.

Why my partner and not me? :4:

Oh wow!!!!! This is so interesting. Thank you so much for sharing!

I am gonna look at the transit charts of the leaders you named. In 2016 the conjunction took place in Virgo. If I remember, Donald Trump has Leo rising, so it must’ve fallen into his 11th or 12th House (depending on the ASC degree).

"wow, what a strong transit you have! Please, if anything happens, keep me posted! I´m very interested to know."

Yeah will do. I´m interested also... :1:

"I´m a Libra Rising so Taurus falls in my 8th (opposing Scorpio in the 2nd). Might get some life-changing financial news maybe?"

Thank you for your message Jeannie!

By the way, I just noticed that Pluto will also stay in my 4th House for a few years.

Good luck! I wish you the best!

I went down a deep rabbit hole and I noticed a pattern. There seems to be a lot of political/influential leaders emerging during this event. For example:

2023- King Charles is crowned
2016- Donald Trump was elected
2009- Barack Obama was elected
2001- George W. Bush & Tony Blair were elected
1994- Nelson Mandela was elected
1987- Margaret Thatcher´s 3rd term
1979- Margaret Thatcher´s 1st appointment/ Saddam Hussein takes power in Iraq

With regards to catastrophes/major upheavals:

2016-Turkey´s failed coup/Brazil & South Korea impeach their presidents/Brexit
2009-H1N1 Pandemic (aka swine flu) is declared/ almost all countries in the world enter a recession
2001- 9/11 & invasion of Afghanistan
1994- Rwanda massacre/ Sarajevo war / Russia goes to war with Chechnya
1987- World stock market crash/ Philippines Ferry accident killing 4,000 people
1979- Oil crisis panic/ Three Mile Island nuclear disaster/ China 1 child policy/World´s first anthrax epidemic

Jupiter-related events:

1979- Voyager 1 photo reveals Jupiter´s rings
2016- Juno probe arrives into Jupiter´s orbit (still sending us information to this day May 2023).

I also found evidence of a lot of major airplane incidents for some reason (maybe it has something to do with the Rahu nature).

Im very sorry for your loss! I’ve lost an older brother when Saturn was going trough my 8th house , and Pluto squared my Saturn.

Losing people at a young age takes away the feeling of security. I lost that carefree feeling after that. It’s a deep wound that always stays vulnerable. I take Homeopathic drops of Bach , they also help immensely. Star of Bethlehem from Bach is for grief and healing. Maybe it’s a tip for you ?

I started Pilates, but ehm I’m not that lean lol 🥴 but it’s more for my mental well being, as are my daily walks.

I’m not very good with calculating different house systems. I notice that with Placidus I tend to feel the transits more, for example my 8th house cusp starts at 1 degrees Taurus, and when Uranus touched 1 degrees my bf had to start a debt program, clearly 8th house other people’s money and debts. It ended when Uranus was at 12 degrees Uranus trine my natal Saturn.

And Pluto will stay for another few years in my 4th sadly.

My form of detachment was when i moved away. My friends always came to me when in distress. As if my house was a safe haven for others. While I felt suffocated and no one ever saw or heard my silent cries. I don’t have friends here where I live now. But I’m content with that. After all those years where people came to me and sucked the life out of me it’s a blessing I can tell you that!
My bf and I do lots of fun things.

If you need to vent or talk I’ll listen, grief is a very painful emotion.

When my dad passed, Saturn was opposing my Sun. Uranus was on my Moon on the 8th, opposing my natal Pluto. Mars was forming a conjunction with my rising. And Jupiter was on my North Node opposing my South Node.

I was extremely close to my dad. Losing him was the biggest trauma I ever had to endure. I don´t think I´ll ever heal. My Jupiter is in Gemini and it´s in sextile to my South Node. My dad was a Gemini and it always felt like he was my soulmate and crossed into this life together. I firmly believe he is represented by Jupiter on my chart.
The day he passed Jupiter was transiting through my Nodes. As if he was exiting through my North Node so we can meet again.

I also give too much to others and don´t get anything in return. I stopped doing that a long time ago. I learned to become more detached. I had to work on myself very hard to achieve that.

My Leo Sun appears on the 10th with Placidus. But if you calculate my chart with Equal from MC with right ascension (supposedly the most accurate house system), my Sun will be in the 11th, and my Venus in the 12th.

You know, I did Yoga for years then stopped a year ago because I wanted to work out. I also took a break from astrology at some point. When Saturn entered Pisces, I magically felt drawn back to yoga and astrology. I just couldn´t explain why. I even do yoga 3-4 times a week! I am also starting to heal, little by little. So maybe you should take advantage of this transit, and trust that it will protect you from Pluto squaring your Moon.

O I see your sun is at 2 degrees. In 2 years he’ll oppose your sun. Is Leo in 10th or 11th? My sun is in the 10th so I guess it will be about home versus work/ambition.

Due to my childhood I never was overly ambitious. Too insecure sadly. That’s why ive let people in friendships and in work walk all over me. I’m trying to overcome that.

You have Mars in Leo, that stands for stamina and endurance. You’ll get where you want to be. Like I said it’s people when we have to go trough oppositions.

O wow !
A lot of the same , my mom was bipolar and an alcoholic. She favored her boys, and the girls were beaten daily. My brother didn’t knew better so continued the mental abuse, he never hit me, but might as well could have , because his bullying and suppression were awful.

I think my brother is bipolar too. I’m happy that I’ve moved away from him, but still in a way scared of him. More in the way of : that I have to take care of him. But that’s a mindset that I grew into.
My mom passed away a few years ago , but i cut off contact 20 years before that.

I’m glad you were able to fled to France, my grandparents fled a war too.
The apartment where I now live are also very noisy and loud neighbors. But I’ll take it anytime over where I used to live.
When Uranus opposed my Venus I’ve met my ex. And he in a way saved me.
I left him after 8 years because I wanted to know if I could live on my own and take care of myself.
My now bf I’ve met 10 years ago when Uranus was in my 7th.

When Saturn squared my moon my mom passed away , I wasn’t sad but all the childhood trauma came up and it came to a head with my brother . I finally found the strength to put myself first. And cut off contact with him. I don’t know if your moon squares your sun in the degrees. But to me squares are hurdles to overcome. Oppositions mostly involve other people that push us to take a certain path.

As Libra risings we tend to balance everything out. But pleasing others and leave ourselves behind isn’t good for us. I am beginning to learn that now. All my life I’ve helped people, took friends in who were out of a job and a home, but when I needed them they didn’t have me the help I needed. Same goes for my brother. My therapist pointed out; did he ever come to your aid? Did he ever take you in when you needed a place to stay ? And the answer was no.
We come here on earth to learn our lessons. I know now as a Libra rising that I need firm boundaries, I’ve worked for a friend begin this year . To help her out, but she took advantage of me, she wanted me to run her company and didn’t want to hire me and pay me properly. So now I’m out of job still. Pluto is coming back to square my moon so I feel my ptsd coming up. I’m doing daily walks of 60 min, and meditate a lot . To calm my mind.

If I would have worked now I would be able so much to do that. So everything happens for a reason . I’m glad you have a kind husband who has your back. You deserve it after all that you have been trough. I guess moon in the 8th means deep pain, deep pain that needs resolve in order to be happy! And that is what I wish for you !

The North Node Jupiter conjunction might bring someone special into your life, who knows?

Saturn in Pisces is unlocking many 12th House-related themed. Ever since it entered Pisces, I am magnetically drawn back to yoga and astrology. I can´t help it. A year ago I replaced yoga with working out, and now it´s like all my body wants to do is yoga. I also took a break from astrology, and now it´s all I do. I guess this is the same reason why you´re starting therapy.

Hi Jeannie,

The more I read your comments the more I find it crazy how much in common our lives have, although we were born 10 years apart.
My mother was emotionally and physically abusive when I was a kid.
I am also very lucky that my husband works! And I too, have been feeling guilty for being without a job.

I am fortunate to be born with French nationality, so when I was a few months old, we fled to France and stayed there until the war ended in 1992. In 2006, there was another war. The French embassy evacuated us in military boats to the island of Cyprus, then flew us to France. It was not a nice experience, but I can´t complain.

While Pluto was transiting through my 4th, my dad got a terminal disease and then died.

I am very sorry to hear about your childhood in foster care. It must´ve been traumatizing! My friend with whom I share the exact birth chart (crazy story) was abandoned by her mom at birth. As for me, well, my mother was a horrible person. Our relationship is better now, but she gave me a traumatizing childhood.

I was born right after Uranus entered Capricorn. I met my first boyfriend when he first entered Pisces and opposed my Natal Venus!

When Uranus transited through Aries, I went through a series of unstable relationships. I met my husband when Uranus was on the cusp of Taurus, so it was already in my 8th house. I really hated Uranus in the 8th. It hovered over my natal Moon for a couple of years, and brought very difficult times, especially when it was squaring Saturn in Aquarius.

I hope that Pluto will also help me step into my power. I´ve had a difficult couple of years. With Saturn in Pisces and Mars quickly passing through Cancer (the 12th) I´ve felt like I am finally starting to heal. I feel myself again. I am happy in this new country. I have friends and a social life. Before that, I spent 2,5 years in Switzerland, stuck in a very noisy apartment (pluto in the 4th), with no jobs, no friends, and no social life, on top of all the problems I had to deal with. I really hope Pluto will finally leave us be. We deserve to be happy.

Hi Yara,

That sounds similar! I’ve worked 5months in 2021, but nothing came from it,not enough hours so I quit that job too.

Pluto transiting my 4th is and was horror. My brother was mentally very abusive towards me for the past 20 years. I didn’t see it then. When he often made a financial mess of his life he expected me to take care of him, and I did. And as I worked for him I thought I had to. For me COVID was a blessing because company had less income so I quit my job and moved 250 miles away, just to be away from my sibling. I’ve been doing meditations too, EMDR, I’m very fortunate that my bf works. But I feel guilty for being without a job.
Reading your post makes me feel ashamed , because I didn’t have to live in a country with war! So I’m sorry for you going trough this.

Since I’m 10 years older I can say that I already had to endure earlier Capricorn transits. When Uranus went trough my 4th I was put in foster care by my mother. And when Uranus in Cap squared my moon, I was released from Foster care , how happy I was ! And that was unexpected! When Uranus opposed my sun I met my 1 bf and he took very good care of me, and made sure I healed from the years in foster care.so I think Pluto opposing my sun in a few years or at least I hope , it makes me stand my ground and step into my power.

Pluto will oppose my 0 deg Venus soon. I hope things will work well for you. Having to leave your country and start anew must be very hard.

Hello Jeannie,

I’m a Leo Sun and Libra rising too. Everything you say completely resonates with me. In 2016, I had sudden change in my work life. I quit my job in 2020 too, and no luck in that area since! I only briefly worked for 3 months in 2021, but the environment was too toxic for me. I’ve been out of a job since, but doing lots of yoga and working out. I guess it’s another form of therapy.

Also, I lost my father when Uranus was stuck on my natal Moon in the 8th (and opposing my natal Pluto).

Pluto transiting through my 4th was the worst. I kept moving countries and apartments. Plus, my home country was (and still is) really unstable. I’ve lived through war and economical collapse.
What’s your thought on Pluto opposing your natal Sun? I see our Suns are a few degrees away from each other.

About receiving unsuspected money and Jupiter’s transits… I’ve notice that, in my case, I feel its influence considering Leo as the 1st House ruler. So when Jupiter was in Pisces, I received an unexpected return on taxes… twice! And when it moved to Aries, I was moving countries (again!) and it was of great help. For instance, I got my residence in 30 minutes, which is unbelievable!
Have you tried looking at Jupiter from this point of view?

Libra rising here :

2016 first upheavel started around work. Until I finally in 2020 quit my job , which was a huge blessing! Working for very narcissistic family member for 12+ years. I started therapy in 2020.

I haven’t had much luck on the job front since , same lessons , learning to set boundaries or otherwise people walk all over me. . But also still dealing with heavy ptsd again. The last time Jupiter went trough my 8th house I didn’t receive unsuspected money, only having to work harder. So I truly wish this time round I will get financial help. Pluto transiting my 4th is an absolute drag! And it drains me. Lots of stress of sibling who’s trying for the umpth time to come and live with me.

If I could immigrate I would , but without money that’s not in my cards. Let’s hope Jupiter helps out.

Yeah, I agree that aspects involving two (or more) transiting planets are more linked to the collective like, for instance, the Jupiter and Pluto conjunction that brought us Covid.
I believe one will be affected on the individual level if it falls on a sensitive point of their chart.
In my case, the conjunction is taking place in the 8th House. It won’t touch my natal Moon in Taurus but it will square my Natal Sun. And I don’t like the sound of it.

Yes, because everyone is experiencing the Scorpio-Taurus axis. As a collective the south node is in Scorpio and the North Node is in Taurus. Its the eclipses we experience to help us clear out the old and start new cycles. Whatever planets create aspects to those nodes is what we collectively feel. How that manifests for you as an individual depends on your house. The nodes change every 18 months always moving retrograde. In July I believe, we will be moving in to Libra South Node and Aries North Node.

Just my opinion, open to other thoughts!
