So here´s an interesting topic, Electric Cars.
The unrealistic reality of them... especially right now....

My husband always finds really interesting articles and information about news.

A question he posed that I told him to search an answer for, is, how will they be disposed of??? They are battery after all....

What chemicals does it take to make these batteries??

If electric cars get into an accident what happens if the battery leaks ?

Charging - so if you have to regularly charge at home, how much will a charge machine cost to buy, and how much will your electricity bill go up charging your car for 45 or there abouts REGULARLY....??

Are they going to subsidize these cars for people to buy??

How many people can afford an electric car? I heard they cost 50, 000.00

If charging takes anywhere from 20minutes to an hour, what´s that out of control line gonna look like??

Or will that not be as much of an issue because population control (these world wide virus plagues, and threat of nuclear war.... I cant help but wonder if the vaccine people will have a reaction to nuclear weapons as compared to the non vaccines...🤔🤔🤔 I mean, why the push??)

Anyways, population control, virus, effects of the quarantine because of the virus (suicides, alcoholism, drugs, depression, Medications for depression, fear, stress, loss in money, loss being able to support, isolation... etc)

Now how about our open boarders, 😏😏😏, (more population control??) Are only all good and safe people coming through our boarders?? And all of them Absolutely dont have the virus or any virus for that matter....? The millions coming through that the government is scattering around the U.S... (and probably dont keep track of...😏)

Smmmmaaart....

Well, I´m starting to rant now....

So,

Anyways, .....electric cars...🤔🤔🤔

The San Francisco cable-car was the first electric car, theoretically someone could have come up with a whale-oil powered car before it!:120:

"Tesla Supercharger "Level 3" leads to:

"Battery Degradation
Second, using a Supercharger frequently can degrade the battery."

"consistent supercharging,[] certainly has a significant negative impact on battery health. Tesla goes so far as to permanently restrict their cars to slower charging speeds if they supercharge too many times."

This reminds me of what I heard recently that companies these days are making things less quality because they make more money this way more often.... the sooner things break down or go bad, the sooner people will have to spend more to replace it....

I´ll attest to that just with my medical equipment/supplies, back in the day things were made to last a looooooong time... durable.

But within the past 15years they started making more disposable items that are to be regularly switched out.

Now, let´s hope these "disposable" items are what? Bio degradable??

What about this "environment problem" people like to complain about? Wont more things made to be purchased and regular replaced or upgraded equally more to dispose of??

Not sure how that all works but I will say, I´m not happy with the lower quality of a lot of things these days.

Are you thinking about using that Quick 15 - 25 minute Supercharger? When you are low on Battery? Daily?

WRONG!!!

Think again!!! :61:

Tesla Supercharger "Level 3" leads to:

"Battery Degradation
Second, using a Supercharger frequently can degrade the battery."

"consistent supercharging,[] certainly has a significant negative impact on battery health. Tesla goes so far as to permanently restrict their cars to slower charging speeds if they supercharge too many times."

"Tesla does not officially sell their Superchargers."

---

Looks like they prefer you to use the "Level 2", 8-12 hour charger... it´s more reliable and battery safe.

Good luck finding things to do in your at minimun [8 Hours] spare time :4:

"Here’s a breakdown of the charging methods and approximately how long each take to fully charge a Tesla from a low battery:

●Level 1 AC (120V outlet at home): 20-40 hours

●AC Level 2 (Third party chargers/Tesla chargers/Tesla home charger): 8-12 hours

●Level 3 DCFC (Tesla Supercharger): 15-25 minutes"

For Car Designers, E.V.s Offer a Blank Canvas

The internal combustion engine is exiting stage left. While it provided great transportation and performance thrills for many years, it will no longer play a leading role. In its place under the hood will be, well, very little.

Ready or not, the curtain is going up on electric vehicles, and most of their mechanical components don’t sit where fossil-fuel engines once performed. Electric motors — far smaller than gasoline engines — are mounted between the wheels. A large transmission no longer gobbles up passenger space. No drive shaft is needed, thus no tunnel in the middle of the floor. The rear seat doesn’t have to be positioned to provide room for a fuel tank.

The E.V.’s power source — the battery — is heavy and large but of minimal height. Situated within the area protected by the wheels, it serves as part of the chassis — a structural member. Nearly all the parameters of vehicle packaging have changed.

Given a new and radically different platform on which to build vehicles, designers are rethinking their approach; the sheet metal that adorned gas-guzzlers can be a misfit here.

Kai Langer, design chief for BMW, sees electrification as an opportunity for designers. “With combustion engines, there was a mandated configuration,” he said. “In this new world, you have different options.”

"Meeting carbon targets."

So again, there´s no reason for them.

Well the reason is control. The illusion is about collecting points. Like Spyro or Crash Bandicoot

"Meeting national CO2 emissions targets as dictated by multi-national
climate treaties."

The way the world is heading i´d be surprised if any of that holds up. Climate change is fear porn for the masses.

"Do what you can, but good luck resisting that tide."

I honestly can´t see it happening. Not even in the physical sense. The upgrade to the electrical network would be insane. They´ve just mandated half the country out of work.

Besides, I´ve resisted everything else theyre trying to shove down our throats. Whats one more?

"That is why I say that "for or against" is the wrong way of looking at it."

Fair call. You just seem to be the devils advocate in your words.

But why? There´s no reason for them.

Meeting carbon targets.

Right or wrong, that is the agenda.

"Electrics are coming"

But why? There´s no reason for them. They´re a proven waste of time and money. They can´t compare to what already exists and without some "rockstar" billionaire behind them, would anyone even give a toss about them?

I don´t doubt they´ll come. They´re already here and the concept is failing miserably.

The only people who seem to drive them are middle aged virtue signalers.

"Government attempts at meeting CO2 emissions standards dictated by climate treaties will force this."

From what people have seen over the last two years is the notion that the government has been fucking them over for some time. People are waking up to the idea that just because someone put it on paper doesn´t mean it´s true.

Our countries emission rates are based on cow farts apparently. We balance that with planting foreign trees which are pests to our native species.

Besides, like Covid, people are waking up to the "global warming" / "climate change" lie. Also the "fossil fuel" lie.

It´s just good seeing people waking up :1:
